With the new autocrafter in 1.21, you could possibly make infinite fireworks if you link the wither skeleton farm to a sugar cane farm and a creeper farm, and use the bones from the farm for the white dye
True, although you can’t be running a creeper farm at the same time as a wither skeleton farm (different dimensions are spawning). You COULD use a ghast farm though.

What do you need white dye for?
you need white dye and gunpowder for a firework star, adding a firework star to a firework rocket allows the firework rocket to damage mobs, @@aenetanthony

tiny damage rocket crafting optimization: it's actually more bonemeal efficient to use the bonemeal to duplicate a Sunflower (or similar) and craft those into dye than to craft bonemeal into dye directly.
Cactus xp farms will give you more dye than you can ever use as well.
I think we could also redirect the ghast fireball to the nether side of the farm without using any portal
but it will slow down the farm as you need time to kill them and they will take up the spawning space
@@abhijiths5237 As fast as the ghast is producing fireballs, you should have more than enough time to kill all the skellies before hitting the mobcap.
I love the ghast setup its so cool ^^. I've always been a fan of utilizing mob abilities (creepers, skeletons , enderman, ghast, withers, silverfish and witches) like this. Thank you for the awesome inspiration

A note on the stone swords: ship them to a zombie farm and distribute them there to get more xp from zombies.
The ghast model may be a cooler approach but with the new crafter it will be more survival friendly to build some very tiny low producing farms that feed the farm to make the firework income eternal. Thanks for the video!!
i was trying to do a potion looting sistem in 1.13 for a witherskeleton farm and discovered the hard way that that bug existed, i got frustrated when i saw that the potion loosed data crossing the portal. cool vid! keep up doing an amazing work! :)
I have an idea, maybe not efficient but very funny. Use foxes with a looting+sweeping edge sword killing chickens being farmed right next to the skeletons. Sweeping edge will take care of the skeletons. Idk if it will work tho
Pretty sure it isn’t classed as a player kill so it won’t drop skulls
Unfortunately it only works with players so piglins and foxes won't drop skulls

Trideent? On bedrock you can just use a skeleton spwaner+powder snow to make them become snow skeletons and use a creeper charged to kill them, this gave you 100% drop of whiter skeleton skulls

hey raysworks i have a portal-less looting challenge for you. how do you make a minecart ghast unloader/storer for looting? I can make one that stores up to maybe 20 ghasts then breaks. any ideas? :D

hey ray if you ever see this, ghast even allow 1.21 raid farms to work with looting and might be best way to kill if you can get a ghast ball stationary, I hope I can harness this power and if do there will be a link to the video. you can even make a ghast gatling gun by stacking them in the same block.

Using dogs for looting doesnt work anymore? in which version did they remove it?
If you add the portal right after the platform without a long drop youll improve the rates and damage them in the overworld instead
@@RaysWorks you can add 2 more layers and the portal can be just far enough that it wont interfere with rates you are right for single player mob caps it may never reach but in multiplayer with a shared mob cap it can or in modded servers with lowered mob caps idk just thought that might be useful to alot of people.

He already uses the least powerful rockets, but less of a fall should help, would only mean that all the skeletons would survive the first rocket
I have a silly idea. Instead of using a clock in the nether how about hooking it up to a counter? It counts the number of withers that go from the nether to the overworld. When it gets to a certain number (like 100) it moves the fence gate on the afk point in the nether.

Does a rocket remember it's momentum when it goes through portal? If I shoot it into a portal horizontally, will it also fly away from the portal horizontally on the other side?

this video is a tutorial though? all builds are either explained in bunch of other videos (base of wither skeleton farm) or small enough to be completely visible (wither skeleton cage), while new stuff like using ghast projectiles and how to get said ghast is explained in this video, so by all means this is a tutorial

What is the benefit in using this method with a single crossroad wither skeleton farm? Single crossroad is not enough to fill the mobcap if you keep killing them with your sword right? Other than overworld item collection and not wanting to use autoclicker I can't figure out why go this route instead of a sweeping edge kill chamber.
If you kill the withers with sweeping edge you would need to be way down next to the lava in the nether which requires a lot more spawn proofing. So if you want to AFK up in the bedrock and do less spawn proofing + get looting then this is the ideal farm. If you want to do more spawn proofing then yea just use sweeping edge.

I like the rocket idea, but how is it better than just killing the skeletons directly with a looting sword in the nether at the bottom of the chute? Is it that you don’t have to make as intense of a perimeter?
The farms drop rate drastically increases due to the skeletons being moved out of the nether (and thus freeing up the mob cap)
And unlike farms where you use a sword to kill them, they dont come BACK into the nether
@@gunwoo1727 But when I’m killing them at the drop chute, they’re also dying instantly. I’m just swinging my sword about once a second. I do think the idea of not needing to make as large of a perimeter is helpful, though.

What reason is there to store chickens in the boat instead of wither skeletons? Is it only to not get attacked when you go through the portal or are there other problems?
@@RaysWorks wasting skeletons is kind of a funny concept considering they’re in the overworld in the first place to remove them from the mob cap. There’s no waste.
Also isn’t there a possibility of a chicken laying an egg on the track and blocking the minecart?

Yes. Considering he said the items from skeletons that get killed inside the portalframe return to his AFK spot all you should need is redirecting the water stream to go back to the portal. Pretty much just replace the cobblestone walls with solid blocks. Not entirely sure if large number of items would cause trouble travelling through portals though.

I always loved pranking my friends giving them 7 star rockets, doing 19 damage each.
Only problem with multiplayer is that a you said, you are going to need an another player afking near the portal in overworld too and at that point the whole killing mechanism is kind of pointless. You could just have the another player afking at the nether ceiling and use your sword at the overworld side. You have an innovative way here for sure but I don't see the benefits, except for single player worlds.

No.
The portal chunkloads the surrounding chunk.
Issue is, if there is someone in the overworld, your mobs will despawn.
When I need to auto click on something in Minecraft I just hold down whichever mouse button I need and then unplug the dongle for my wireless mouse from the usb port. It just keeps clicking all on it's own after that.
That's not autoclicking and I think you can also achieve that by holding mouse button while reloading resource packs or something. Autoclicking is when it uses mouse button every once in a while like hitting with a sword to get the sweeping edge effect. (unless I misunderstood and it infact keeps hitting the mouse button with a little time inbetween)

Yup! Composters above hoppers disables the code that checks for items above them and makes them less laggy, composters are the cheapest and least laggy block for this purpose (any block with an inventory works if i recall).

@@thatsHECKAtight no sorry, but I think you can test it out yourself, just put one on a hopper and drop an item in, if it doesn't pick it up it probably reduces lag.
