@@hhaste I could only access the test on Xbox one s so it ran pretty bad. The menus of the xbox itself are fine, not slow enough to complain about, but Infinite had tons of UI bugs and lag. Sometimes I couldn't even change helmet or experience just a straight up crash when trying to matchmake. Hopefully it's better at launch, but I'll be on PC then.

A 50 games where Fallout *isn’t* suffering playing? You love to see it
No, it's the suffering that makes it entertaining.
Honestly i thought i'd just lost the enjoyment of multiplayer shooters in recent years until playing halo again and remembering how fun they CAN be, but only halo seems to capture it. It has decent TTK most of the time instead of being sniped from someone you never even saw after wandering a mostly empty map for 20 minutes, and the physics based explosion kills are always super fun, even if i'm on the receiving end of them. Halo 1 was the first time i ever got into online gaming, in the old dial-up days, and the only other online shooter i ever enjoyed as much was BF3. Feels so nice for halo to be returning :D

The 2042 beta was a blast though... not that I've played this one to compare.
Both betas were good. Although, I feel like Halo Infinite was better, in my opinion.

The 2042 Beta on Xbox One X was terribly laggy and poor performance. A friend who has a Series X downloaded the plain Xbox version veriosn and said the exact same thing, laggy and poor performance. He said the Series X version was smooth and playable.
I had *way* more fun with BF 2042 than this.

The assault rifle is awesome. I had a blast back in the flight a couple weeks ago combining that and the throwable shields. No one could get anywhere near me, and if they did somehow manage it, they'd get a shield chucked in their face with a punch to follow. Super fun. Just wish my friends had also signed up for the beta so I wasn't stuck by myself the while time.
Historically the Assault Rifle has never been great...and ya know what. I ALWAYS WANTED IT TO BE! I'm so happy that it's not just "The gun you spawn with and get rid of as soon as something else comes along". I ways wanted it to be able to compete with some of the higher tier weapons.

I absolutely *love* the fact that the assault rifle is finally decent. It's such a good feeling, and now it doesn't feel like a waste of space in the game, and the battle rifle and commando have their own significant lanes.
I never had a problem with the 3 or reach ar. Felt it was a solid starting weapon. Beat the br at close range at out performed things like the shotgun at mid range. Wasn't better than any weapon but outperformed them all outside their niches. Compared to the 5/infinite ar. Just feels like a full automatic br

@@joemoe650 honestly as a person who loves reach and 3 the ar only felt decent and done decent in shotgun range. The br I feel like is good no matter what you do with it short range,long range,mid range it's precise and only a few shots means death to where ar depending on how far you are means either your shield will be shredded and in need of some sort of combo to finish people. It's one of the reasons why nobody used the ar at all in previous halo games if they found a different gun.
The ar actually feels good fo actually use imo and now feels like one of the three standard UNSC weapons that wasn't tapped together by a third party company because of how cheap it was

It appears that Halo Infinite made a good impression on me too, as every time I play Destiny, New World, or BF 2042, I am missing the Halo Infinite Beta... MISSING A BETA TEST While playing 3 of the Biggest AAA Titles!

The only gripes that I can justify are related to the Battle Pass, Confusing UI Design, Menu/Navigation Flow, & Team Stats Display. None of these hurt the refined recipe that is Halo Sandbox Gunplay.

I like when the AR is good, feels so satisfying when it can actually compete with other weapons. People will say it can be better than a BR so it’s too OP but Idduno about that. 9 times out of 10 in a clean 1v1 if I have a BR I don’t lose to an AR so I think the AR is good where it’s currently at in infinite.
