I just wanted to say that I related to this so much as a solo player. It made me soooo much better that you voiced many of the same frustrations that I experience every time in Trials. Maybe I can get Lee to join my fireteam.

Went Flawless for the first time ever last night while Solo Queuing. It was a tough climb but I'm happy that after several years of attempts I've finally reached the Lighthouse.

I feel so lucky after watching this video. I solo queued this weekend and won 7 straight games and went flawless for the first time in my life in either destiny 1 or 2. Great video , hilarious as always.

The 3 things that killed me the most all weekend. Stasis / Shatter Grenades. Snipers, and Vex Mythoclast.
The worst of those for me has been snipers, most snipers are pretty average, but there are a select few in trials that can't seem to miss even if they fucking tried. Nothing more shocking than peeking a lane for a fraction of a second and immediately dying.
Mythoclast is pretty easy to out range with a pulse or scout or sniper or Linear fusion.
Shatter grenades aren't that hard to bait or dodge, I mean yeah they will get you sometimes but once you know they are doing it then you can look for it
@@AgentDoubleV_Gaming I'd be one of those snipers that probably peaked a lane and immediately ruined your day hehe. I'm a pretty average sniper but in trials I go from average to above average with concentration.
What killed me the most: Snipers, Shotgun punching titans, Handcannons.

If their’s one thing I learned from trials this weekend it’s that you should never rely on your teammates in solo queue. You could play perfectly but your teammates will let you down 80% of the time

Your exactly right, because I am that teammate with a .32 k/d 🤣🤣🤣 don't get me wrong once I'm warmed up and in the zone the mistakes I made over the last 10-15 rounds I've learned I immediately catapult into the positive k/d realm. Some people are just trash and don't learn, I wanna get better and I don't wanna get carried its so embarrassing to miss the O to orbit before the scoreboard shows up on my team's loss with two guys at 13 and 9 kills and I have 3. Just gotta be patient.

I did my first ever solo queue Trials the other day. It was kind of rough for a while while I figured out a loadout. It's frustrating when you make pushes to press advantage and your team doesn't follow up, but for the most part as long as flawless isn't your goal, it's pretty enjoyable. Flawless is a whole nother animal.

Even if flawless isn't on the books winning 1 out of 10 games cuzz every game your going against a stacked team isn fun at all.

I'm a bad player too, my aim is shit and I only like playing sniper, so you can guess how useful of a teammate I am. But even someone with my considerable lack of skill can effortlessly achieve a 25% win rate.
There is no shame in being bad at Destiny PvP, I would only advise not to blame the matchmaking when the real problem is that you're just bad.

I recall being put into a two-stack on Wormhaven during Trials labs. On the final round where it was 2-4, my team quit out when the round began. Yet the enemy team didn't come clean me up immediately. I went out near the ledge and did a sad emote. The enemy team crowded up around me, and tried to do the hug emote. Sadly, you can't do that with enemies. I dm'd their fireteam leader "GGs" and proceeded to hop off the ledge
These 50 games series has helped me a lot with my patience when it comes to match-made teammates. I don’t rage, but I can get so damn frustrated by the second or third game I wanna quit. Thanks for making these

At least watching this makes me feel better about getting mauled in Solo Trials pretty much non-stop. Also, when you suck, like I do, people are pretty rude after the matches via messaging. Very discouraging as we can't all be super players, how else are we do learn. Thanks for this video.

Those people who are pissy over losing a match take their k/d too seriously. Plus they haven't realized trials is available for solo now, of course there's going to be 10x more people who don't play pvp 24/7.

Doesn’t hurt to run a few practice games before hand. Even if you hate using the meta guns try them, they’re meta for a reason. And most importantly don’t use double primary.. it looks bad even if you don’t use your sniper they’ll be cautious of it! Don’t get discouraged just do your best and learn from your mistakes.
Figure out who’s the best on your team and follow them. Should help a lot.

I usually run stacked but there's no reason to go flawless, I just wanted the In Memoriam Ghost to complete my trials ghosts collections. So I played solo both weekends, my kd went from 1.6 to 1.33 in two weeknds. I played alot. It was a hilarious change of pace and this video just captures it perfectly😂

@@AgentDoubleV_Gaming destiny isn't to hard. Evrry class has some broken aspect you need to abuse. If its a grenade get good with it and run grenade energy. Then pick a weapon you are good with and play to its play style. Use broken exotics and take advantage like a stag warlock sniper. Or a shotgun stasis hunter. Titans are just as good with shield and shoulder charge. Maybe be a fusion rifle shield peaking titan. Destiny is pretty liberal

I meant that I need to get better at my pvp movement so I can go from somewhat above average to truly trials sweat level

Most three stacks use discord or other voice systems. Stopping to type mid combat is a terrible idea, and Destiny's own voice chat is fucking horrible quality.

This about sums up my experience playing solo in week 1 and honestly I had a ton of fun compared to this past weekend. Got to 5 wins for the second time ever after winning a 2v3 match with a guy from my game 4. He's the "Lee" equivalent for me and the fact that we clutched a win after our third teammate left at the start against a 3 stack was honestly some of the most fun I've had in pvp in a while.

Loving solo queueing - best fun in Dest for years. It’s a rage-inducing roller coaster tho. Seems like the first games on the card are always against full party Revenant sweats with Vex and Trials gear. But it gets easier the more games you play.

I've been playing mostly Solo, and I've been running DMT with Main Ingredient, and by god....I was consistently getting to 5-6 wins
I've been running Chattering Bone (the Last Wish pulse) and Null Composure of all things. Definitely off meta but I love that pulse.

These 50 games vids are always entertaining. It would take a bit of grinding to get to the point you could do it but it would be awesome to see you run 50 dungeons in Final Fantasy 14. There's a free trial that includes the entirety of A Realm Reborn AND the award-winning Heavensward expansion up to level 60 with no restrictions on playtime!

This was amazing, please please do another random wheel loadout trials with your friends. I've watched that probably about 7 times
How Trials works for me:
I open the game, go into Trials, lose 5 times in a row.
Then I leave Trials, go into crucible, and get 30 kills with a 4.0KD.
Then I go BACK into Trials... And lose 5 times in a row.
This goes on for the whole day, or until I decide to do a Raid.
Idk how you would but if you think of a way please do more videos like this? It was so fun!

Certainly possible, but you’re gonna have to frag your nuts off and hope your teammates will stick together. Usually you will have to be the playmaker, and they will hopefully follow
Its easier than it has ever been. It literally removes all the players better than you till you get it. By Monday even a blindfolded paraplegic can get flawless.

I went solo flawless over the weekend and I’m no where as good as fallout it’s not that bad play on Sunday tho it’s super easy then
You can do it I'm a slightly better than average player (2.0qp KD) so no where near the best of the best and went solo flawless. I had two main focus's if I had good team mates I just stuck to ones ass to support them and if they sucked put on very cqb weapons and just tried to ape my hardest and clutch out obj wins with bubble. Large luck component though as well

Started as a humble Stag Warlock, ended up as a shatter and vex crutch 🤣😭
As a shitty solo player, I reset my rep last night after playing for three days. I did it for the handcannon and golf ball and the salty tears.
I enjoy doing solo flawless because it makes me learn the maps, ability placements, how to clutch, ability to read more plays, and overall increase my ability. Plus you still get loot. Went flawless for the first time this week. Felt so good. Haven’t gone flawless since destiny 1
Yes it made me better as well. Some times i surprised myself with the moves that i came up with
Definitely forced me to pay attention more to my teammates and what they were playing.
I am so accustomed to either not giving a fuck about teammates (in regular Crucible or comp.), having teammate that non-verbally know how to play well with me in high comp because they have experience or being able to talk with friends about what they are doing.
Solo queue trials had none of that. Really forced me to understand what angles they were holding and how to better support the team all without communication.
It is rough though, on Distant Shore there was a few times I was going for the far C flank. Hoping teammates wouldn’t peak until they heard me put a few shots into the sniper staring down the tunnel by B. Nope, they insta peak and get domed then complain I am playing solo.
I was my thoughts were to draw their attention safely which would allow teammates to clean up. There were times team saw what I was doing and it worked to perfection even woth no communication. If opp. tried to chase me, their back were to team and they were picked. Those were the players you could tell had better understanding of flow of game.
There was also times were we were 2 v 1 and we know dude had a sniper so all we had to do was push and I’d be jabaited by teammate who runs back for revive of their friend rather than team shot the last guy. If we push slightly different angles he was corner of A non-cave side, no way he snipes us both. Instead teammate ran to the ship on C side for revive, I get off one burst of NTTE to his had and opp domed me thru flinch and then opp got both revives in B by putting up barricade. Lol. Would have been a easy clean up if he put in shots from B by the vex gate.

@@beyondthehiddenbth5764 Yeah, I know they've added it since then, lol. It was just a joke about the fact that Freelance wasn't in the game at the launch of the Trials revamp, and how I think it hurt public perception a little bit, yet was completely easily avoidable.

And it's funny: I went flawless for the _first time ever_ on my *_first attempt_* at Trials Freelance. It was literally exactly what I've always said about Trials: Pre-established teams just have an inherent advantage over groups of individuals who are teaming up for the first time, whether through a pickup group on LFG, OR with matchmaking.
