Thank you for your comment, this is the way my mother always made her saffron, and I do the same, the saffron water are golden clear, with a potent flavor and aroma. thanks again and good luck.
Hello, I was just looking up some information and on another video they mentioned the word saffron and I’ve seen it in the stores quite expensive but anyways I thought you know what I’m gonna get some but what do I do with it when I get it so and I got you and you explained it so well I will pick up that saffron this week. Thanks again the video is done very well and easy to understand, and the comparison between the two ways of making it that was very Impressive, aloha from Hawaii
Hello to you, thank you for your complement. for answering your question what to do with it? you can add it to rice, noodles, meat, fish, chicken dishes and even to Bread dough. It has a very unique flavor when adding it to dishes, just don't add to much of the liquid gold like I showed in the video, you don't want it to be overpowering your dish, start with 1/3 cup see how you like it and later on in your next dishes you can increase it to 1/2 a cup of liquid saffron,.Some dishes like chicken or fish you can add lemon juice to compliment the flavor, check out my video saffron stuffed potato, It will give you some ideas, if you have any question, I will be happy to answer. Thank you again for reaching out to me and your support truly appreciated.😍
I’m not familiar with the recipe you are using for a saffron chiffon cake, but I can tell you that you can make the saffron extract as in the video and add about 1/4 cup of the saffron mixture to a 9 inch cake batter, just remember this method of extraction makes the saffron potent, so you don’t need much of it to get the unique saffron flavor in your cake. Good luck with your baking. Please let me know if it worked for you.🥰
The saffron didn’t stain my mortar and pestle. Warm soapy water cleaned it. However, it can stain light surfaces and a light color sink, eventually the stain will fade away. I use some bleach to clean my sink and it works.
Hi there, I never tried adding saffron to my coffee, but I can tell you that some people add it to warm milk, also to desserts, breads, noodles, rice, meat fish etc….
This is the most efficient method I’ve seen on how to get the most out of this beautiful spice, thank you. 🙏🏼
Thank you for the compliment, I learned it from my mother. 😍
Thanks for the tip to steam it first. This is the first channel I have seen with this advice
Thank you, please try this method to extract the most flavor with a small amount of saffron. 😍
Thanks for the advice; this is exactly what I was looking for.

informative, thanks
Thank you for the video, I’m new to using saffron and I have seen that they recommend not adding hot water..
Adding hot or boiling water will help dissolve the saffron to get a clear liquid gold without pieces floating in the tonic. 😍
Hi
I want to put saffron into my chiffon cake, what is the ratio of saffron to the flower in the recipe?

Can you just eat the saffron?
Yes it safe, but I don’t think you would like it, you can make saffron tea or mix it with warm milk and drink it.😍
One of the best saffron in the world grows in Afghanistan, Iran. I can help if anyone wants.🖐
Does the saffron stain your mortar?
I wonder that too

🤨 Umm-What about just for a cup of coffee?
