One of the things I feel really affects this character is how much ammo he burns through, as in, his max charge shot costs 8 ammo and his first charge costs 4, while most other characters are 2/4 or even 3/6

2 things Popcap went overkill with the nerf. They needed to get nerfed (or buff anything that isn't OP) but Popcap just full on removed their purpose of existing.

E citron isn't bad necessarily, he just requires a different playstyle compared to other citrons after the rework. Similar to Cozmic Brainz, the 2nd charge is the best version of his attack

Here electro citron is still my favorite character. He is still ok but the only thing I hate is, when I play as him in turf match or any other online game mode I will get targeted by everyone because they consider me a free kill and when I do kill them they might hunt me down just to teach me a lesson about killing them with the quote one quote worst character in the game. Electro citron isn't the worst character in the game. And if you are asking why he is my favorite character it is because of his design and I am excited for the new blue techno citron for pvzbfn that will be added next month. Oh and I main this character

EC was the first character I unlocked when I bought GW2 (although I did have every other character from GW1 thanks to the account-sharing mechanic) and even then I knew he was hot garbage. I bought GW2 pretty late so the Citron nerfs were likely already out, and as such dealing 70 damage with a fully charged shot is pretty fucking pathetic. I found more success personally just charging it halfway since the full charge shot burns through so much ammo.
How did you import your GW1 characters then? Because I’m pretty sure by the time the Citron Nerf came out they disabled character imports.
@@GNVS300 I don't know the exact date unfortunately but when I logged in for the first time it rewarded me with all my GW1 characters through the mail box thingy.
Bruh, using his first charge gives you a higher DPS than Iron Citron. You just found the best strategy to play as him.

no he hits 34 at long range with his max shot not one
ElectroWalker86 yeah but you have to be close to do that damage. You can even see in the video how close someone was to him and he still hit one damage. This guy sucks. Also, the future cactus can hit 100+ damage at range with upgrades. This character is about as useful as the dark bean bomb

I think power is the worst because future can hit 102 with one damage upgrade,petrified is amazing up close,zen is a fun and good character.i think power is pretty bad.

While I get why PopCap reworked all Citrons to be better at close range, y'know, he's a tank, he's meant to be the All-Star of the plants, being in the front line, taking a beating, and dishing it right back, not sitting at the back of the map, I feel like they should've isolated E-Citron and made his damage fall off more in line with, say, Plasma Pea or Mystic Flower
Yeah, that would be great! I think he's okay as he is, but reducing his dropoff just a little bit would really help him out.
@@micahlindley7515 i think another one of E citron's biggest problems is how QUICKLY he burns through ammo, like the fact his charged shots take so much ammo means you have to be on point with him or else youll just fucking die, not to mention you have to be really accurate as is

Well you can sorta make him playable with the charges. But if you don't use any charges and upgrades, he's complete dogshit
At one point I tried to go for max rank (I got a little bit past 1/5 of the way there and the only money extra I spent on the game was for the deluxe edition) and I'd go for level 10 amd then switch to another character. I have a list of characters that I hate to play. E-citron is defininitely one of them.

As he was playing herbal assault he said that he hit a zombie for 25hp and that that that was 2% of the zombies health, that means that the zombie had 12,500hp
