Lots of practice, or breathing exercises. If you sing the song or focus on just the last, hold it for as long as you can and practice pushing yourself to hold a bit longer each time. Eventually if you practice it enough you might be able to do it

it's just so intense, you can tell that Jeremy really took note of the horrific experience Clyde would have had in jail and he emotes it so amazingly here. I also love to compare his portrayal of a character like Clyde Barrow to his famous role of Jack Kelly- both dreamers but with such different intent and personality. You know you've got a talented actor when he can perform two roles so individually.
I am so obsessed with this song. You hear him going crazy in this song, and the desperation in his voice to get revenge. I fall more in love with Jeremy Jordan every time
i love the way he did a little glissando on "littleeeeeee" making it a little sharp and then belted the hell out of "Hell" ahahah it's so clever and so on point with the character and the song
I just love how much rougher and sort of... out of control he sounds in this one (and to a lesser extent Too Late to Turn Back Now, when Bonnie threatened to leave). You can hear the desperation and panic.
fun fact: during clyde's time in that prison, there were prisoners selected to be guards in the prison (one being ed crowder, clyde's abuser), and they would abuse the other prisoners. if the workers did not do enough work or do their work good enough, then they'd be beat. because of that, prisoners would cut off toes to get out of work, including clyde who asked another prisoner to cut off two of his toes, giving clyde a limp
When I listened to this for the first time and I had no clue what was happening and Jeremy sang the “all I did was rob a few stores” and I laughed very hard and I’m just here to apologize because oh dear god

They only killed a total of 13 people, maybe less, since they always got accused of crimes they didn't commit. He really didn't like killing people and would rather kidnap them, then drop them off somewhere with money to get back home. Yea, the line “justice here don’t fit the crime” can go for a lot of situations. Poor Clyde, he really was a tragic victim of a poorly managed legal system.
I laughed when he said that the Devil got him bc that's what people from Texas say when we fuck up. "Oh the Devil got a hold of me!" "It's the Devil's fault!" etc
Long story short, a combination of a relatively poorly-timed opening, critics in general being incredibly wary of Frank Wildhorn, less-than-stellar marketing, and neither Jeremy Jordan nor Laura Osnes necessarily being thought of as the stars they are now (or would become even just a few months later in JJ's case).
Ahh... "justice" again... more happy bubbles. Idk ok?! Knowing Jeremy Jordan the most from his roles as Winn Schott and Jack Kelly, it is refreshing and a bit weird to see him as an "evil" character in Bonnie and Clyde and in Death Note.

Ik. It makes no sense-
At least they're going to do it two more times. They might even record it!
"So let's raise a little hell" is all one breath at the end of the song. How is that possible? In what world?
