Nice video! How are they holding up? Do they do a good job long term and are temperatures affected to the point it is a performance downgrade? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what screen protector are you running? Thanks in advance!
Left them free, but I switched to iOS in general for my daily usage. For gaming still use it, and since I only use it for gaming, the dust problem is gone. Btw I changed the battery of mine and dust won’t block it fan or the air channel “, it has a build in dust blocker. And it can be cleaned from outside with air. For me it was the glue around the air channel where the fan is. Something caused it to break the connection from phone to backcover, so there couldn’t be enough air flow to cool it down properly. After renew that the phone is keeping constant cool temperature, even while heavy gaming sessions of several hours
@@SNDSneedlewoodz I honestly think that I will use the protective strip during the day and when I charge it or play I will take them off, then put the protective strip back on... Because I think those protections will overheat it .What do you think? And why did you switch to iOS? You didn't like the RM9 for daily phone?
It definetelly affects the air flow.... maybe a 50% or so. But if you plan to travel a lot during summer I think it is worth it and then you simply remove it.
I might consider to do a short video, but think this is not a 100% proof solution, but probably better than anything depending where you bring your RedMagic device :)
DONT DO THIS. First of all by covering the holes you're effectively ruining all the benefits and it will not cool the phone as good. And in the worst case scenario the fan dies or even can catch on fire. Cause if it has nowhere to draw the air from then something close to vacuum might form which will stop the fan but it'll still try to spin. Just buy a phone without a fan if u want it to be water resistant
@@asinaso335 if u don't want the fan then just buy Nubia Z60 ultra for fk sake... They are almost identical phones but Nubia is water proof with IP rating 68. It has a better camera. Yes redmagic has 6500mAh instead of 6000 but let's be honest 6000mAh is more than enough anyway..

You didn't want to use compressed air to blow anything that may have been in the inlet port, first? Unless it's a new phone.
Thank you for this!! I was wondering the same thing for my RM9Pro and decided to buy the same product that you recommended.
Awesome! Hope it helps! :)
Every of those Stickers from several Sellers blocked some of thr airfloe of Mine. What causes even more heating up
True
Do you still use them now? Or did you leave them free?

¿Cómo se llaman en español? Necesito el nombre.

Que medidas son por que encontre unas para los altavoces de los iPhone
Sabes que medidas son? Ando buscando igual
Id get a case and stick it on the inside of a case instead where i can remove the case anytime and clean the mesh
Smart
Does it still work fine now? Or do you no longer use them?
