Back in the 1995 movie, that filthy Goro animatronic cost 1million dollar to make and it required 16 people to operate. Then we all know... it got punched in the balls by Johnny Cage.
I've been waiting for and following this movie for 5 years when it was first announced so I know pretty much everything you need to know. To list a few things: Sub zero is supposed to be like "the big baddie". The Sub Zero in the movie is Bi Han (The first Sub Zero) but he dies and becomes Noob Salbot causing his brother to become the Sub Zero we all know and love. Kano was ment to fight for earth realm in the very first MK game the he betrayed everyone. Cole (the new guy) is supposed to be a way to explain everything and have it make sense why they're explaining everything. Plus the games add characters all the time so they saw no problem with it. Ermac and Goro has taken Jax's arms so they felt they had creative liberty with that to. It's gonna start with Pre death scorpion. Lu Kang is fighting Kabal when he makes the dragon. The guy in the painting is Kung lou who is the ancestor of the Kung Lou in the movie, he won the tournament 500 years ago. They're saving Johnny Cage for the second movie to give him a bigger part/role to play cause we're getting so many characters and a brand new character in this movie. The director is thinking either Ryan Reynolds or Scott Adkins (My idol)
Didnt know if ya caught it but theres a character at the bottom when Liu Kang summoned his fire dragon the character was kabal but yeah cant wait for this movie looks fantastic great reaction!!!!!!!

Both actors sound good for the role. I think I prefer Ryan because of his endless comedy, but Scott is good as well.
