@@FanFictionReacts I'm glad your friend girl knew the story of some of the characters like Ermac who tore Jax arms in MK 9-11. However, there are many different scenario on how Jax loss his arms like in MK Revenge when Goro was the one responsible of it. But this story is following the MK11 if you have noticed in Scorpions outfit.
Also, Kitana, J. Cage, Sindell, Ermac & hopefully Rain would surely be in the sequel along with Cyber Cyrax & Sector or have a glimpse in this film. I hope this movie or the sequel also introduce the human flesh Cyrax & Sector. So that the veiwers would know those two ninjas also got flesh before they turned into Cyborg against their will.

Best part of the cast is that they are actual experienced martial artists such as Joe Tasim/ Subzero and Ludi Lan/Liu Kang. So wont be actors pretending to be fighting.

They're setting this film up for a sequel and trying not to cram the movie with too many characters and storylines at one time, which is why you don't see some main chat like Kitana and Johnny Cage. This movie is to be an independent take on the game's story while still staying true to the origins of the characters.
That was just one many mistakes that was made with MK Annihilation...they tried cramming WAY too many characters into it (half of which were god-awful looking). The first movie had a good mix of characters from the first 2 games.
