Try the Marathon next year, that has a proper Yorkshire bite in the middle, the crowds in Otley make that bit worth while. Done both editions of the Marathon and loved both, even with the heat.
Hey Pepper was a great day... Finished 1:55 just behind the pacers that caught me up at mile 8 on the long hill. The whole thing was a lot of fun plenty of high fives. The 2:20 pacer with the blue hair agreed to kick me if she caught me... Mike the 1:55 guy was tempted.
Managed to get in your video this time ! Volunteer in the yellow shirt clapping you over the finish line, I did shout you but it was loud. Well done getting round it was a hot day to be out running a half 😀🏃

Haha, it was the heat! I genuinely forgot to say it at the first water stop! The finish in the stadium was brilliant!

I’ve heard about that! A couple of miles of climb isn’t there?! I thoroughly enjoyed it so may well go back for the full distance next year!
