The greatest Series ever made. I watched it again time of lockdown I cried like a baby when spartacus was killed. Though Andy was great but I would say Liam gave spartacus another life.
Andy will be sorely missed by all of us who know he would have been among the best actors if he were alive today

I stopped watching after Crixus died......for awhile though 😅 because im convincing myself that it is just a tv series,and they are not a real gladiators. And its hard to come back to reality 😂😂😂😂

It's both sad and amazing that historically, Spartacus went right after Crassus in the final battle but was cut down by his centurions.

Both actors portraying Spartacus were great in their own way. Spartacus learning his new gladiator life, forced to kill Varro, kill Theokoles, and lead a rebellion before killing Batiatus was fantastically done by Andy. However, Liam's deep voice and tall stature, along with a built body that looks like it belonged to an actual gladiator was much needed after killing Batiatus. Liam made Spartacus look dangerous. Liam had the roar in the battles that motivated his army while striking fear in opponents minds. I mean just compare Andy's speech to the fellow gladiators and slave after he killed Batiatus versus the speech Liam gave right before the final battle. Even the speech he gave while mourning Crixus was memorable. Andy had charisma but Liam had the beast that showed Rome why Spartacus is to be feared.
This series is awesome. A feast for the eyes. And above all, inspiring. Even in death, Spartacus is inspiring. Crixus is no less appreciated. Simply superb acting by everyone. I've watched the series a number of times, to appreciate it's nuances. 👍
I know the video is not new but I'm glad to see that many people consider Spartacus as one of the best series ever made. All 4 seasons taught me something about life or people, even the bitter ending. A fantastic job of all people involved in the making of this serie.

On another note, isn't it curious he had Agron, Crixus, Nasir, Gannicus, and few others for years and yet none of them bothered asking him what his real name was? Lol
I wish we could’ve known what his real name was too. He was thracian, so probably he had a greek name like Alexandros, Atticus, Lysandros… I thought they never asked what was his real name because they realised that in some way he had embraced his new name as a symbol of freedom and hooe of liberation. And he was hiding his real name for the time in the afterlife, when he was going to get reunited with his wife. It’s kond of poetic. I love these series so much

yeah me too... I wish i could have been born in a time like that or similar and fight for freedom... be a warrior... no one fight for real anymore, they are all enslaved and they doesnt even realize it. At least before people were smart and fight for things, now they just use entertainment to avoid reality.
