  • The new 2021 Honda CR-V is still an Amazing Compact SUV. Even though unchanged for 2021, the new CRV has a great looking exterior, a very functional and spacious interior, good power from its engine, and provides a great and comfortable right with plenty of standard features.

Thanks for reviewing EX trim as most reviewers are given top of the line trims that are way above what working families can afford.

i bought this, EX-L model, in July 2021....BEST FUCKING DECISION IN MY LIFE EVER!! The small turn radius is absolutely amazing, it's small enough that I can parallel park anywhere in the city, and yet big enough inside to accommodate passengers of all sizes, with vast space in the trunk for luggage, grocery bags, camping gears, picnic stuff, etc. My CRV got me past other vehicles stuck in deep snow, and plowed my way safely all the way to my home during winter storms. My CRV was able to trek the roughest trail roads to secretive hiking spots. My CRV safely brought me home in extremely flooded roads on rainy days. Honestly....I can't imagine my life without this amazing car. I'm keeping mine for a long time

Bought a 2020 CR-V EX last year and couldn’t be happier with it. The only complaints I would have would be the CVT transmission has a delay at times, but when it kicks in, it speeds up real quick and the other being the engine noise being a little whine-y. Other than that, very comfortable, very spacious, and very quiet.

Just bought this today. It’ll much better suit my family than my old pickup I traded for it. All the new computer and screen interface features are a little overwhelming for me but I’m sure I’ll get used to them. It was definitely a nice ride home from the dealer and the radio sounded fantastic. 👍🏻

@@pdswrld5200 If you want room for luggage or lots of bags and boxes, I'd say go CRV. It has a ton of space in the back for stuff. If you don't need that then maybe the accord. My CRV is a family car and has worked great for us in daily life and road trips.

Go with the CR-V. I own the CRV and have driven the RAV4 extensively around the Northern region (plenty of country/steep/twisty roads) of NZ's North Island. I don't get the popularity of RAV4. It's an ok car, nothing special, the back row seats aren't as comfortable as the CRV and I don't like the faux off-ride styling, but sales in my part of the world outstrip the CRV by 7:1. Love the CR-V. Spacious, reliable, good driving performance and thrifty on the gas. it'll fit three large adults in the backrow seats. If you're a big/tall/obese driver--you'll appreciate the CRVs spacious driver seat space and legroom.

This is my wifes car, gently driven, brakes for some reasons have gotten worst, master cylinder has been changed, brakes changed and lines bled, still a bit soft. I'm on my second front wheel bearing, the car has 158k and now I'm dealing with P0456 errors. Is this a good car for first time drivers?

Can’t decide between this and Forester. Love the visibility in the forester but this seems better put together.

Very close between the two with both having advantages. I like the CRV a little bit overall.

I had a 2013 CRV, loved it until I drove 2020 Forester....so much better, more safety features, bigger back opening, bigger engine, great mileage.

Excellent review. My only concern is potential oil dilution issues with the 1.5 turbo... is it really resolved? Only time will tell.

I asked the same question, but didn’t get any response. Ssssshhhhhh, just don’t talk about it, maybe it will go away miraculously, just like coronavirus.

Would you choose the CRV over the Forester?

Very hard choice between the two but I think I would get the crv.

I wish Honda would give the CRV magic seats! It would make it the perfect SUV. We stick with the HRV because the magic seats allow us to transport our dogs easier.
