Right?? The more I think about it as time has gone by, this is one of the best options in the area. And typically somewhat semi reasonably priced relatively speaking.
We met a couple there who had a baby (sub 1 year old) and they did well / had a great time. I believe they have a “kids club” with daily events as well which could be good if they’re in the 4-10 age zone id think. That said, overall it was pretty quiet and relaxed - and I didn’t notice any kids. So def wasn’t a “kid” vibe in that sense. I know the Grand Velas is well known in the area for families - so could be another good one to check out.
Nope! I’m a mosquito magnet and didn’t get bit at all at the St Regis (they fumigate there it seems). I did get bit elsewhere in the region though (eg at the viceroy where I don’t think they fumigated, and then at Mayakoba because it rained). But wasn’t really too bad.
I booked through Amex and on that I believe it was called “Studio, 1 King Bed, Ocean View, Corner”. The key is the “corner” part as those are the ones with the epic outdoor areas!
I love the way you do reviews. Thank you and please keep at it 🙂
Thank you!! I appreciate the nice words and good vibes 🙏
Great room! Stayed in the exact same room last year. Headed back soon to the John Jacob suite this time.

Do you know what this suite was called?
