    hello M. walden
thanks for sharing with us your instructive videos and for the tricks you give us.I need a help from you: I've installed catia V5 but I don't have the possibility to apply the material so that I can do FEA and other analysis.how can I solve this problem?
this problem is very annoying to me and it's blocking me
looking to hear from you soon

Sorry your question was in the spam folder. Regarding your problem - no idea , never happened before to anyone I know.

Once again thank you for your help. I followed the tutorial and I'm quite happy with it. Don't you think that would make it faster to just design the ZX shape of the engine block, extrude it alongside the Y axxis and then just do the cuts for the cylinders and water passages? What would be, for example, the cons of opting for this design decision later in the design process of an engine block?

There are many ways to do it. Which one you prefer is up to you. After all it is just an exercise.

You´re welcome, but my time is very limited, I usually very busy with training so there is almost no time for a complete project.

Can i use add body instead of assemble in this video. Or can you tell the differrence between add body and assemble body in part design.
