I’m surprised how many patients are in hospital being evaluated (in this series) without any friends or family with them for support. The British are amazingly stoic and optimistic, and as a nurse I really admire that.
I always go alone and I am from Canada. No use having a friend risk getting sick and also having to wait 8 hours watching me lay in a bed or sit in a chair.
A neighbor's dog jumped through the screen door and viciously attacked my son's 9 lb dog. She spent a week in a pet hospital. The dog ended up with a massive, painful infection in her body and my son had to put her to sleep. He was heartbroken. If the neighbor had been more responsible my son's dog would still be alive. The gal whose hand was attacked by the dog is fortunate she wasn't hurt worse.
When I was born I was born with deformed feet. They were permanently fixed inwards so I had what my mom calls duck feet, because the way I would walk (if I could walk at the time ) similar to a duck walks over each foot. They put me in casts. They didn’t do surgery or anything because my moms a nurse my grandmother was a nurse and they knew that it was most likely a muscle issue (it was). They did x rays and everything. When my feet were straightened out almost fully my mom noticed my feet naturally pointed my toes so they put me in dance! It fully helped my feet completely straighten out. I’m 23 almost 24 now and let me say Anna dance definitely does help with not just balance and muscle it helps with my emotions. I can’t dance anymore due to a physical disability that causes the tissues in my body to deteriorate faster than normal and pops my bones out of place occasionally if I’m not careful but I’m glad dancing helps you out and makes you feel better. @@pegs1659 my mom is amazing. She’s honestly a saint. Same with my grandmother. Tragically my grandmother passed away in 2007 and both my mom and I miss her dearly. But I know she’s watching over us and is in a better place

Kind of irritates me when people talk about a Doctor like he’s all wow because he changes the bed. That’s like saying Gordon Ramsay is all wow because he scrubs the walls.
The dog just protecting its territory and was confined in the house so not a public threat. She stuck her fingers in the mail slot, into the dog’s territory. Who would have expected to have the tip of a finger bitten off like that? It was an accident.
You all are wrong. The mail slot IS for people to stick their fingers in and put stuff into the house (inc. mail). People whose job it is to put stuff into houses have no choice but to use it. They cannot be so careful every time to gingerly put things in without any part of their hands intruding into the slots. The dog owner might not have intended or foreseen it, that's why it's negligence and not something more serious. If you have a dog, you need to make sure it is not biting other people going about their normal business.
I wonder what these people would be like without their degrees without their money without splashing around their cash and everything else I wonder what they would be like as actual normal humans
To me that’s basically like saying oh hey, I splashed $2 billion to buy a yacht I could’ve helped with my countries national debt but no, I decided I needed the fanciest ride to do what a canoe could’ve done

The amount of money it takes to run a hospital the staff the doctors the equipment the medical supplies and more its astronomical
