It was the start of the apocalypse. Rick just woke up when this happened. Willy pulled the vent and Rick was encountered by Morgan and Duane. And when that happened, Willy got pulled in. That's why it's called "FEAR" and the crossover. They wanted to show you before they were just fresh, smart, scary and fast and then over time decayed, they were fresh, strong, smart, scary and fast. TWD was just showing you walkers are around after Rick woke up from his coma. Here they are showing you these are how the walkers were during Rick sleeping and Shane saving his life by barricading the door. That's why he was a strong zombie.
There should be a European version of The Talking Dead and Miss Kate O'Shox should host it. Forget #KatieOnTheCouch give the lovely Irish lass her own show. Am I right? Yeah I am.

I understand charters die, yes even the best ones and ones you love. But it usually leaves you with still alive characters that you root for as they continue their journey. In this case there is no one else I like, or am even interested in. Travis was such a good character and like others said was just developing. Fine he died, it was going to happen I'd they wrote the series that way. But it was way too soon.
