Alicia was right to tell them instead of hiding everything like Madison who thinks she knows best (a damn school counselor!). The ranchers are SURVIVALISTS and the Nation have been living in that arid land for generations tracking water. They are bound to come up with solutions if they know and work together rather than Madison's dumb secret plans. Also, pretending they'll all just love each other like Jake and Taqa's big speech is dumb too, but joining and working together for the practical matters of survival like water is the only thing that will actually maybe prevent conflict. Alicia is a smarter leader than most of them.
The message I take from TWD and FEAR is that no matter what is thrown at humanity, we will still find a way to argue and fight over meaningless things. The zombies in these series’ are not the monsters.
I love Troy but couldn't stand sad sack Travis (with the exception of him going full beast in the zombie pit) and get bored with expressionless Daniel. I think Troy is the most capable actor on the cast, he's kinda fascinating to watch. Love Strand and Alicia as well as characters. The rest can be eaten for all I care. Maybe Taqa can live too if better developed.
I think a lot of people love to hate Troy. He's definitely a great character and brilliantly acted. Yeah Travis (RIP), Daniel, Strand, and Troy probably the best characters this show has had. Also Jeremiah was great, as well as Walker.
well it was written by that terrible showrunner they have (the premiere episode I mean). Every time it's slow, choppy and contrived, it has his hand prints all over it. I cant wait for him to leave lol. This show could be miles better with someone good at the helm.

I'm a die hard fan of walking dead and I love this series. But this premiere....the writing just wasnt good, wasnt a fan
