I’m currently on a vacation in Greece, and my main camera on the beach is insta360 one rs boosted 4K. I really love it. It’s small, quick, footage looks awesome. I’ve spent a lot of time with the camera, underwater, and it works perfectly! One thing that I’m noticing is when I get the camera out of the water, and record something, the audio is good and the voice is clear and understandable. It’s not mushy and muted, as if something is blocking the mic.

Insta360 definitely need to give the desktop app the same features as on the phone app.

Thank you for the great review. I haven’t bought any such cameras before and I’m looking to record more content for my travels and rides. I’m thinking this will be a great starter.
This would be great if you're also interested in the 360 aspect. What's great about the 360 cam is being able to reframe your shot after you've filmed your footage. But yeah for travel videos it won't be a good option.
What’s a good option for something that is good for using with a selfie stick for recording scenic spots and to use for bike rides? I am not a professional. It’ll be more of a hobby and to share online.
Definitely an action camera if you want to mount it to your bike. I'd go with GoPro Hero 10 or the Insta360 ONE RS. The benefit of the ONE RS is that it does have the 360 Lens module so you essentially get two cameras in one. There's so much cool stuff you can do with 360 footage too. The Insta360 Mobile app is free and easy to use as well so you can edit on the go.
I like your videos so much - just continue that way, please.
But maybe you could give me some advice: I'm looking for a small (action) video camera for capturing videos and some fotos by doing mtb on flowy trails as well as spending our time at the beach or climbing or doing some city actions - what do you think would be the best choice: insta360 one rs or dji action 2, perheaps the pocket 2?

Have you reviewed the One R? is it worth the upgrade?
I never used the ONE R, so I can't compare from experience but from looki g at the specs you get better battery, the 4K Boost Lens give you better quality footage than the 4K wide angle lens, more mics and better audio quality, and the ONE RS has a few extra features too.

Hi! From comparing the Hero 10 and the Pocket 2 I would say the Pocket 2 is much better in low light. I haven't compared the ONE RS yet so I couldn't say. But I will soon be doing a comparison.

Another nice review. I've been humming and ahhing about getting an action camera (to replace my Gopro 8 that was stolen) and decided on the Osmo Action 3 (sort of), then decided not to bother as at €359 it's too expensive for something that I don't really need and I have been put off by the "soft" (out of focus) immage which seems to be worse on some of them than others. The Gopro is just far too expensive and the budget alternatives are still too much of a compromise in terms of video quality and stability. I've been thinking of the Insta 360 RS for some time, but unsure about the video quality, but your video in particular has tipped the balance so I have ordered one, just the basic 4K edition. At €288 it's quite a bit cheaper than the DJI or Gopro and not so much more than the better quality "budget" offerings. I clicked the link on this video and not only didn't pay any extra but got a free battery pack that wasn't otherwise offered. Thanks.
That’s great! Thanks for using the link too. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed, it’s a good camera, and if you ever feel like getting a 360 camera in the future, all you’ll need to get is the lens mod which will save you loads.
I really like this camera aswell but it doesn't has in camera shop in Thailand. It is rare to buy. However i will look forward to buy it.🇹🇭
