Koh Chang is one of very islands that I haven't visited. Done a few in the Gulf of Thailand and most of Southern Thailand but Koh Chang will be part of my final trip to Thailand in the near future for sure which will also include Koh Kood and Chiang Mai. Already done Koh Samui, Koh Tao, Koh Phangan, Railey, Krabi, Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Lipe, Koh Yao Noi and Koh Lanta.

Hey guys! Was there last week... and the water was unbearable hot, impossible to swim. Came down south.... another story. Considering the temperature atm you really need a cool dip. If you have the chance, go check out Nanai resort. It's in Salapek ( spell wrong..) ,not far from the temple. South. It's amazing 😍. Have a great time 😊😊

Koh Chang , If you look at the map, it looks like an elephant's head, but if you look at it from the shore, you'll see an island. It will be like an elephant crouching. 🏝🌴🐘🦣

We can’t do everything
This is Thailand as our parents still knew it, few tourists and pleasant peace. We're not talking about Bangkok! 😆The area is definitely recommended and I hope not everyone travels there now. 🤭 Unfortunately, the death of coconut palms is a widespread problem and not only observed in Thailand just like the masses of jellyfish in some ocean areas...not to mention the destruction of coral reefs.
Too bad you are advertising it so it gets destroyed with tourism like the others. Other big travel TH-camrs have avoided it for that reason. Let it stay a hidden gem
It's hardly a secret...I first read about Chang in a LP guide in the 90's and visited 24 years ago. And I'm pretty sure it's been in all the guides prior to that 😂. Head to Indonesia if you want something less trodden.
