- We decided to extend our time on the island and in this video you will see us get back on the bike on the treacherous roads of Koh Chang, head to the east of the island and explore Koh Ngam (aka toilet island) and finally head out on a Kayak to explore some of the nearby coastline.

Ngam in Thai means beautiful or pretty. So Beautiful island. Hong Nam is toilet😊
Yes, the way we were pronouncing it, the ladies said we were calling it toilet island lol!!! I think we were over pronouncing Koh to make it sound like hong!
If you were saying hung nam, you indeed were saying bathroom. Nam means water in Thai, and hung means room, so the literal translation is water room, which is what the Thais call the bathroom. By the way, when you ask for two bottles of water (I noticed your lady friend asked the vendor for two bottles of water) you say “song nam karona kap”. Song is two in Thai, and karona is please. Enough of the Thai lessons for now. Any more and I would have to charge you.

National park is national treasure so non-thai has to pay more to maintenance it than Thai people who get tax regularly for maintenance😅

My trip next year is Koh Lipe, Koh Chang for sure! Went to krabi earlier this year and we couldn't fit in lipe. So will do that and chang. Yeah baby!🎉

I loved Koh Chang. But definitely dont think its the most beautiful island. Phi Phi and Koh Kood i think are much nicer
Phi phi is too busy! But yes Koh Kood is amazing. Koh chang is bigger with more to see & do. Koh Kood coming tomorrow!

We have been there and we will go back in December 2024 including the small islands around Koh Chang.
It is a beautiful place without too many Russians so far like the invasion in Phuket.
