When I saw Luna I teared up. I love her! She was my inspiration to adopt a Chihuahua I named Lucy. We lost her to cancer in June. She was so young, only 7. We shared 6 wonderful years. If it weren’t for sweet Luna, I may have never thought of adopting a Chi. 💗🐶

Moms really do make the magic. When my kids were growing up, we decorated for Christmas the Saturday after thanksgiving and we did it with hot cocoa and Christmas music. That’s a core memory for my kids and I love that they have that.
I am in charge of the decorating for my church. The team and I did the Christmas decorating the week before Thanksgiving so everyone could have more time to enjoy the decorations. Most people in the church loved the idea of Christmas decor going up early. ❤🎄💚

Our moms have so many similarities, and now that I’m also a mom it’s so neat to see how you’re intentionally setting new traditions for your family! OMG Thank you for addressing the people who criticize others for "decorating too early." Why can't everyone just stay in their lane, mind their own business, and not be a buzzkill? Sometimes, people "Need a little Christmas, right this very minute." Personally, I like to have most of my decorations up by Thanksgiving. It's called the Holiday SEASON for a reason! Plus, I love looking at the decorations while celebrating Thanksgiving with my family. The decorations make me so happy, and I like to enjoy them throughout the holidays rather than scrambling during an already busy month trying to get everything done.

When you live in the north of Norway and it is dark all day and night beacause the sun is away for 1-3 months, the christmas decorations and light must be up as early as possible! And looking at you decorate is so nice!! It looks so good❣️You have so much nice decorating pieces🤩
We never had table cloths all year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas. My mom would break out this huge white one. After dinner we would all sign our name and the year wherever we sat. She would embroider what we wrote and then wash the ink out. It was amazing. So many memories. Lost in a fire but I hope to bring it back when I have the space.

I loveeeee this conversation!!!! This year my focus is on using the things I have- I tend to save the “pretty makeup” or the “fancy skincare” or not carry my higher end bags because I’m saving them. Gotta cut it out. This year I’m using products up and getting the wear out of my bags 😊 And not buying more of a makeup/skincare item until I have none of that particular item left in my stash. 🎉
I finally got a chance to sit down and watch your holiday decorating video. I too love Christmas, but have yet to put up my own decorations yet. At this point in my life, I have so many items to choose from that I don't put them all out. I recommend tru tone lights!! We only have the tree topper that they made in 2022 and it’s absolutely perfect. Probably going to buy their mod colored lights next year.
Loved the video. I buy pretty gift boxes from Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, etc that look like gifts and place those in front of any wires or outlets that show. Reuse them year after year.

I absolutely adore your style of decorating. I love the vintage. I've been scouring my vintage stores looking for ornaments and home decor but don't really find much. Sometimes I can get lucky and find things that LOOK vintage but aren't. my style is vintage and nature/Yule themed.
We're early decoraters too! We always put it all up the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we host Thanksgiving, and everyone is always happy to see the decorations.

thank you! It takes a little bit of time but I roll each string into a smallish circle and use a twist tie to keep it rolled. It keeps them all separate and straight so I can unroll them and place them in the tree one by one.
My Favorite Things was the song my mom would sing to me when I woke up in the middle of the night scared. In the middle of the song she would tell me to list all my favorite things and then I didn't feel so bad. 😊

I've noticed in the past few videos that the quality is so much more sharp. You've always had good quality on your camera for videos but it seems more crisp lately? I have that same round globe lamp from IKEA (I think it’s the FADO lamp??) and I got a color changing bulb for it and I’m sooo glad I did. If you got one for your you could set it to be orange for Halloween or red or green for Christmas maybe pink for Valentine’s Day etc etc.
I love your decorations!!!!! I actually got the twinkle lights for my own tree because of you, and I just love them!!!! I always put giant glittery poinsettias on my tree and all different picks, and it makes it look so amazing, and they don't disappear into the rest of the tree. I am definitely a maximalist for Christmas, the more, the better! This year, I am toning it down because my hubby got me a beautiful kitty last year. Her name is Winter, and she is the floofiest, sweetest girl. But cats and Christmas trees don't always mix, so I'd rather tone it down and relax lol. This year my focus is on using the things I have- I tend to save the “pretty makeup” or the “fancy skincare” or not carry my higher end bags because I’m saving them. Gotta cut it out. This year I’m using products up and getting the wear out of my bags 😊
And not buying more of a makeup/skincare item until I have none of that particular item left in my stash. 🎉
I finally got a chance to sit down and watch your holiday decorating video. I too love Christmas, but have yet to put up my own decorations yet. At this point in my life, I have so many items to choose from that I don't put them all out. Certain items are just special though, and it wouldn't feel like Christmas without them. 🤗

I recommend tru tone lights!! We only have the tree topper that they made in 2022 and it’s absolutely perfect. Probably going to buy their mod colored lights next year.
Loved the video. I buy pretty gift boxes from Marshall’s, TJ Maxx, etc that look like gifts and place those in front of any wires or outlets that show. Reuse them year after year.

I absolutely adore your style of decorating. I love the vintage. I've been scouring my vintage stores looking for ornaments and home decor but don't really find much. Sometimes I can get lucky and find things that LOOK vintage but aren't. my style is vintage and nature/Yule themed.

We're early decoraters too! We always put it all up the Sunday before Thanksgiving, we host Thanksgiving, and everyone is always happy to see the decorations.

Can you explain your technique for storing your tree fairy lights? I love them so much but I dread the process. They get so tangled.
thank you! It takes a little bit of time but I roll each string into a smallish circle and use a twist tie to keep it rolled. It keeps them all separate and straight so I can unroll them and place them in the tree one by one.
My mom did so many traditions, especially around Halloween and Christmas, that i still do with my boys today.

My Favorite Things was the song my mom would sing to me when I woke up in the middle of the night scared. In the middle of the song she would tell me to list all my favorite things and then I didn't feel so bad. 😊

I've noticed in the past few videos that the quality is so much more sharp. You've always had good quality on your camera for videos but it seems more crisp lately? I don't know if you changed the setting or a camera or something but it's really awesome.

I have that same round globe lamp from IKEA (I think it’s the FADO lamp??) and I got a color changing bulb for it and I’m sooo glad I did. If you got one for your you could set it to be orange for Halloween or red or green for Christmas maybe pink for Valentine’s Day etc etc.
I love your decorations!!!!! I actually got the twinkle lights for my own tree because of you, and I just love them!!!! I always put giant glittery poinsettias on my tree and all different picks, and it makes it look so amazing, and they don't disappear into the rest of the tree. I am definitely a maximalist for Christmas, the more, the better! This year, I am toning it down because my hubby got me a beautiful kitty last year. Her name is Winter, and she is the floofiest, sweetest girl. But cats and Christmas trees don't always mix, so I'd rather tone it down and relax lol. Thank you for these vlogs, I am absolutely loving them!!! ❤😊

I told my husband me decor dream for our home is Nutcrackers and Jingle Bells 🥰 I currently have a ton of snowman things, but I'm working on incorporating the newer things when I thrift or buy new. Loved the video, it was so festive 🎉
