    What may appear like a cheap generic Nike comfort shoe may surprise you once you try these on.
    Aimed at WALKING, not running, these deliver a somehow unique feeling underfoot, so lets discuss.
    Nike Motiva $110
    Pros: 5 Reasons to try
    Price
    Comfort
    Functionality, rolling motion is nice on feet.
    Stability is nice
    Wide Feet friendly.
    Affordable Nike Invincible Run Alternative
    Cons:
    odd bumpy oustole
    Non branded midsole foam, not cool enuf for react? Not fancy enough for Zoom X?
    not overly breathable
    a little heavier than average at 11 oz
    The Nike Motiva helps you step through whatever the day brings, at your pace. Its uniquely patterned outsole and exaggerated rocker combine to give you a super-smooth, cushioned and comfortable ride. This means you can walk, jog or run comfortably and come back for your next leisurely stroll confidently. It gives you optimal support for your every move, every day.
    All the Grooves
    Comfortgroove innovation, a uniquely patterned outsole that makes every day an extra soft ride, absorbs the bumps along the way. It creates a sort of piston effect, which allows the foam to compress a little bit more, giving you that extra cushion needed to offset ground contact stride after stride.
    Rocks All Ways
    The exaggerated rocker on the outsole helps propel you forward and make every step you take as smooth as possible.
    All the Durability
    No matter how you move, the Nike Motiva is made to last. The generative outsole pattern provides durability and traction while on the go-taking you all the way.
    More Benefits
    Soft foam waterfall collar hugs around the ankle and heel for comfort.
    1/2-inner sleeve helps you get the shoe on and off with ease. It also helps reduce rubbing during your workout.
    Widened forefoot, arch and toe box provide a comfortable fit when you're on the go.

    I like how they made a fold to guide the compression. My fuel cells would collapse towards outside of my feet so my feet would be resting at an angle causing knee pain.

    Was able to try these shoes out. As walkers, they feel like a game changer. But that rocket means standing still seems abit uneven and the weight isnt distributed equally. So as an all dayer maybe not the most versatile.

    Seems like Nike did a lot of research for this shoe. Hell they even made a short clip on the utilities of this shoe. Wonder why they kept the price low. Probably because the " walkers" have a little market. Probably that's why they chose to remove the branding from the foam to position it below the invincibles.

    • @ESSENCE000
      @ESSENCE000 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      because some people claim that walking and running use different motions, so walking shoes and running shoes have different purposes thus they have different structures.

    • @adnaanu
      @adnaanu ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I've often thought the same, but the commentator above hit the nail on the head. We use a different motion and, therefore, different parts of our foot muscles for walking. Running shoes tend to have more shock absorbance in either the heel (e.g Asics gel nimbus) or in the fore foot (Nike pegasas,). When you walk you tend to plant your feet more square and evenly.

    • @thestarseeker8196
      @thestarseeker8196 ปีที่แล้ว

      What confuses me is that I guess what I think of as "walking" probably isn't the same as what it's commonly seen as. Like when I go on a walk, and I mean a serious walk, I'm in an urban area where I'm gonna run into all kinds of rough curbs, hills, dirt, probably a bridge, there's the hot asphalt, there's just all this punishment which I can't see these foam soles surviving multiple trips enduring. So for me I'm always in my 90's or something else kind of tough with Air like maybe Terrascapes. Now, running seems cut and dry to me; you've usually got set runs on set routes, something straightforward like just around the neighborhood, a mile or two down the road........and you're not gonna go for a route that is gonna tear up your Invincibles or whatever so that's all fine. I feel like I would use Motiva for going on runs like that, not so much walking adventures.
