I used to have a friend who married a Russian missile engineer. He met her visiting Russia. One day he woke up and she was staring at him and smiling. He asked why? She said, “ you never hit me even when you drink” and “you never get so drunk you wet the bed”. She was serious. A while later he bought her a new car, a modest Mercedes, she shouted at him to not be so wasteful and exchanged it for a Volkswagen.
She's the one I wish I found. I gave a pretty young Russian woman a life here in the US after a year of correspondence by mail and phone, and after staying for a few weeks with her family in Moscow and marrying her. Once she was here she was like a different person. never have I been treated so cruelly and maliciously. She moved out after a few weeks to be with some rich Russians in the area. She was always treated by me and my family with kindness and respect. It was the biggest mistake of my life.
@@tryscience yeah yours is not the only bad story. I think what helped in the example I gave was that My friend spent many days traveling with his future wife in a professional (translation and technical and legal discussions) circumstance. They did not become romantic for a long time. He got to see what her ethics were like and he noted that when he explained to her that he had full intentions to pay 100% of royalties due to his personal ethics and that he would select a robust outside auditor to prove this to the intellectual property owners, they began to admire each other as honorable. He met her family who lived in the countryside and saw that they were highly ethical.
I can guess that for most girls looking for a ticket out they will fake things. The first mistake is to choose based on youth and looks. Attractive people often get by on looks and nothing else. I hope you find a good partner. Now there will be so many women who lost their husbands to war.

@@richardkudrna7503 Richard I appreciate your thoughtful reply. I thought annulment would undo the marriage but not true in the US. I divorced her in 1997 the same year we were married. I haven't married since. I can't imagine marrying another Russian woman. Half in jest, I can probably guess why Russian men drink so much lol
Had to lighten it up a little there. Her behavior was so beyond the pale, I speculate that maybe she wanted me to strike her so she could claim some kind of abuse and petition to stay in the country by herself? I don't even know if there is such a thing. It's no understatement to say she subjected me to emotional torture. I listened, suffered, tried to understand but still treated her with respect and dignity. That's the one comfort that I have, that I did nothing wrong, gave her a chance at a good life as an equal partner. She seemed devoid of conscience. I've had no contact with her this century, for the better I'm sure but I have to wonder how she now feels about what she did all those years ago.
@@tryscience you make a good point - that you maintained dignity and humanity. I’m reminded of a conversation I had with my Ukrainian friend when I joked about starting a mail order bride business with him (around 2002). He thought I was serious and he spoke sharply that Canadian men were not equipped to handle Russian / Ukrainian women and it was immoral to contribute and that when the girls killed their husbands with iron skillets to the head I would share in that sin. He was actually serious!
Hopefully this made you laugh a bit. I do see how not achieving a happy family is hard. Being single does have positive aspects. Speaking of wives, my friend retired to Thailand and found a very good woman. Proper age etc., not this nonsense of being with a person 25 years younger and wondering why it doesn’t work.

I would say, from my experience living in nine different countries, all over the world, that nothing could be further from the truth of the title of this video. Rather than saying that Russian women make the best wives, you should say that they make the best feminists, as though that's a good thing. British women are generally a bit less insincere, but rather fat and even worse dressers that the Russian women. They don't hide the fact that they are feminists.

I remember when I first got "online" in the mid-1990s seeing all these "Russian Bride" sites. My innocent (?) thoughts were "is the economy that bad, that they're all willing to gamble on a foreign husband?" Then I learned about human trafficking. 😢😡

It's not all about human trafficking. I went to one of those sites and struck up a correspondence with a stunning Russian lady, her mom was an English speaker so she would help correct the letters that she sent to me. I could speak with her with basic English on the phone, we corresponded for a year and then I went there for a few weeks and lived with her family, married her after 3 weeks there, it was such a wonderful time. After months of waiting and paperwork, she landed here in the States and even in the airport, it was like she was a demon, the same woman but caustic, hostile, cruel, I was completely taken off guard. My family and I treated her well, threw a combination welcoming and birthday party since she arrived here near her birthday, she was vicious and malicious and it was the biggest mistake of my life which ended in divorce later that year, although she left after only a few weeks to live with a couple of rich Russian men.

Great video. I celebrate my 20th anniversary with my Russian-American wife this August. So. I am happy to say that I endorse your positive assessment of Russian women as potential brides. Marrying mine was the best decision I have made in my later adult life.
I've been married to my Russian wife for 23 years. You can find good Russian women, but like all things do your due diligence.

So far Russia has sustained 4 times the causality rate of the United States in the Vietnam War, and yes I know Russia has sustained higher causality rates in World War II, but World War II was a war of national survival and the Ukraine War is not a war of survival for Russia, the existence of Russia is not in question, only that of Ukraine, so why send your men out somewhere to die if they don't have to go? The only reason they go is because the Russian government is drafting them, Putin wants to be the great conquerer, he wants to be famous and have statues made of himself, and drafted young Russian men are going to sacrifice their lives to help Putin become "Putin the Great!"
I agree, I have had really great luck with my Russian wife, she is amazing 18 yrs married. She moved to the US with her mail order bride mom, their marriage is still going at 21 years.

I know of two brothers who had two Asian mail order brides. They were absolutely gorgeous (the women). The brothers were not so much and also not wealthy. Yes, you are spot on. Here in Canada, I have heard local men talk about exactly the same stereotype on many occasions, exactly as you mention in the video. They dream to find a Slavic woman that is "traditional" (according to their standard), and can cook and clean.
In fact, some of the locals I know not only fetishized Slavic women but also Asian women and even Middle Eastern/Muslim women.
As an immigrant, I have been observing society since I move to Canada and I can feel the grievance, hopelessness, and desperation the men here are feeling because of the radical feminism and the misandry social atmosphere that is rampaging across this country, and I can understand why many men would buy into the illusion that Slavic women are the "ideal" wife. The grass always looks greener on the other side, and perhaps holding on to this belief will make them not to lost hope and believe that there are still good women exist in this world.
The issue of human trafficking particularly of Slavic women is nothing new. It has been going on for centuries actually. I study the archaeology and culture of the Mongols, Tatars, and Nogais, and millions of Slavic populations, not only women but also men and children, would be captured and sold to various corners of the world through slave trade networks that many Westerners are relatively not familiar with (Ottoman Slave trade market, Central Asian slave trade market...etc). It is nothing new, but it is just something finally being brought up relatively recently. I wish there will be something done in the future to crack down on this disgusting industry through the cooperation of the international community. It is absolutely evil and needs to be ended.

I am a bit surprise about the cultural shock that you mention. In my home country, we see Eastern Europe also also falls under the umbrella of "Western civilization/Judeo-Christian West" but a different branch, so I was thinking the difference would be quite minimal. I could listen to this young lady talk all day. I discovered this channel by the wonders of YT algorithm and watching a couple of her other videos, I am super impressed with her intelligence and world view. I don't know that I have met a young person as her here in the US that has her level of maturity.
I have a friend whose mother was a mail-order bride (we're gonna call her Kevin). Kevin's mother died and she was abused by her father and step-mother in Russia, and they threatened her to put an end on her studies (she studied in physics at the time in St.Petersburg). Her brother wanted her to escape that future and stumbled upon the "bride market" I'd say, and he told Kevin about it. Of course, Kevin thought she was going to marry a rich caring westerner and continue her studies elsewhere and she accepted. Then came my friend's father, who was in his early 50s (Kevin was probably 20-21 at the time) and he ordered Kevin from the mail (never thought id ever say that lmfao) so then Kevin traveled to New York. She thought she'd continue her studies, marry, have kids, live happily ever after, but no, it was a scam. The guy was constantly drunk and abused her physically and mentally. He'd typically go out at noon, and come back home drunk and sit in the living room. He would use Kevin to turn off his cigarettes (like take her arm and turn off the cigarette on her arm which would result in burning and he would yell at her and slap her for the stupidest reasons like "oh, there is a stain on the carpet, imma beat u off" (i imagined it like that). Kevin endured this for like years, we all saw it (the husband was NOT ashamed), and she'd complain about it a lot, and cry. My own mom, friend of hers, went to the police with my friend (the son of Kevin) and me and told everything to the police and they had to bring the FBI to investigate their case. Now, she's living with another man (a real man this time) and she is very happy.

Reason traveling to Russia was the architectural design of buildings. Anyways... yes, she is an excellent cook, she keeps a clean home, very independent and intelligent. She is a very beautiful woman. Our ages now... I'm 64, and she's 52. It's not because she's Russian. Look... we have different cultures, beliefs, and religions, but we are all human beings. True love doesn't care who you are or where you are from.

From my little experience I sort of agree with you although I hate to overgeneralize. I am with a Lithuanian women for the last 10 years and she is incredibly hard working, caring and affectionate (and beautiful but that has nothing to do with her achievements). To this day I don't know what I did to deserve her 🙂
Our western women are more or less at our image, that is same as us western men, which is very often very much self entitled, self absorbed, disconnected from reality, with limited capacity of resilience and with a maturity of a teenager no matter how advanced in age we are.
It's not really our fault, having for many of us only "little problems" to solve in our lives made us this way. It's nothing genetic, just incredibly spoiled upbringing and lives. The good thing is that by contact with them (eastern women) one usually realizes something is wrong, then It's the start of something, we sort of see the light.
My first boss, a great Dutch guy, used to say to me "listen Pierre, it doesn't matter how close from hell you stand, it's the direction you are going which matters". :-)
The "stereotypes" you mention are indeed a problem and undeserved. They come in all shapes and forms, as in the west.

western people are the way they are is because they have it too easy.
They have been coddled from birth and grow up with this head set of
self entitlement. And, it seems the more affluent people
are the worse this self entitlement feeling is. But, there is a huge
difference between equal rights and opportunity
for women and feminism.
The former is good and empowers women, the latter creates
women who feel entitled and are totally self centered.
The west is too full of the latter type.

I remember many years ago, seeing a segment on one of the news programs here in the USA about some company, where a guy would pay them X amount of dollars, and that would buy you a flight to Moscow along with a tour guide who would accompany you and a group of other guys who paid their way for this trip, to some single bars in Moscow, where some of the Russian women went there, because they were informed that a bunch of single American guys were in town to check out the possibly finding a Russian bride. One of the American guys about 40yo, got down on his knees and asked some 21yo Russian girl if she would marry him,( he knew her for about two hours ) he offered her a wedding ring, that he brought with him. The girl responded by asking the guy, why didn't he find a lady to marry in America ? Which he really did not have a answer for. The girl put one and one together and figured out, that the guy was just not all there upstairs.
A guy who lived across the street from me did that. Russian woman said she was a veterinarian. He married her brought her here told him she wanted a farm, sold his house bought a farm and then tells him she is not a veterinarian and is leaving him . Done

I know of a couple of men who married Asian women (not through one of these services) and they were very traditional in the beginning. But in both cases it didn't last, after a few years, they became Americanized and embraced the attitudes prevalent in the culture here. In one case she divorced him.

I have a racist Russian family in my neighbourhood who did not like the idea letting their daughter being in a relationship with my brother. We are a Moroccan family. Some of us are light skinned, the others slightly brown. Only because we are Moroccan, we are not insane islamists or something. My brother didn't even care about religion, either. It was merely love. So, the parents told her many times my brother would sell her to Egypt because she was blond. They eventually ruined the relationship between the two because they fed her with so much mental crap. Tables have turned. They organized her a Russian boy. I can hear her crying and having arguments. She pretends being happy but she isn't. Unfortunately, the friendships she had in our neighbourhood and with my sister was ruined by her terrible parents.
It is so ironic and hypocritical of her racist parents claiming we are degenerates when the parents are so mental and insane, they don't value much their daughter. I remember when she showed signs of emancipation but sadly she has now turned to a woman with not enough freedom.

I knew a person who was a victim of human trafficking, it took her a long time to work out the trauma that was inflicted on her life.
Four of my seven children are Russian. I have two Russian daughters (biological sisters) from Siberia. The stereotypes people have regarding Russian/Slavic women are very, very funny. Although my daughters are not what you would refer to as Slavic, they are beautiful, very, very strong willed, very loving but will beat the crap out of you if you cross them! One is married and I just sit back and laugh at times because her husband forgets her heritage and will assume she will react the way the typical girl born and raised in the US would react.
Quick to anger, slow to trust but will love you forever if you are good to them.
Load of old rubbish. That don't understand the meaning of love. If you are kind to them, and love them in the right way, they become haughty and spoiled. Treat them rough and rudely, and they love it, until they find a replacement who has more money. They are not strong types, but are headstrong, meaning extremely selfish. If you are a conservative type of man with traditional family values, stay away from them.

I never believed in the "Slavic woman" stereotype but ... I somehow was always attracted to the Slavic type. Being Romanian we have Slavic women in the neighborhood but not so much in the country of course.
I met my wife who is Ukrainian in Bulgaria and love her very much. While not all stereotypes are true some are kinda true.
First there's the attention to how they look which is not all that common today with women. My wife regularly takes care of her appearance and really puts the effort and money for it. I've also noticed it's quite in the culture to this day to put make up and look nice. Agent Nesty does this too, makeup and takes care of the appearance.
Second would be an interest to having a man and a family. It's quite common for a lot of modern women to have no big interest in this. They're more preoccupied with their careers or just being independent to care. That's not to say that my wife was desperate or anything but she was genuinely interested in having a husband and a family ( we now have a nice daughter )
What doesn't fit the stereotype is the interest in being a house wife, she's a manager and actually earns more money than me so that's a no but I never really wanted a woman who depends on me.
My perspective as a man that spent ten years traveling around the world living in Philippines, Thailand, China, Poland and Ukraine. Some of the stereotypes are true. If you just walked up to a random girl on the street and dated her statistically she's going to be more traditional than most American girls. I don't think the girl making the video realizes how bad western women have become. I'm 39 and went on a date with a 22 year old American that had already slept with 100+ guys. She also had an Onlyfans and expected me to make videos with her. I would go so far to say a Polish escort/prostitute has more grace then most western girls. When I say western, I mean America/Canada/Germany and Australia. These are the worst countries in the world to find a wife.
Your perspective is to find humans that don't know what freedom and choice is. Through their age and then through their horrible life circumstances. To judge others for having choice and using your privilege to take advantage of others that don't have what you do? That's far worse than anything you can say about a woman living her life. You've missed the point, you shouldn't treat someone as if they're there to serve you and only do what you like. How would you like to be treated this way? We're all human, we want to be free too.

Women even if they don't leave their home country still seek out the best man they can hold onto. International dating just amplifies this and swings the balance of power into the mans favor which is why you probably have an issue with it. The brain isn't done developing until 25. 30 is where a person *starts* to understand the world. I know men are flooded with horrible things that take advantage of them as well, but please have some compassion for yourself and others as you learn what's really happening, and how you can help. I went to Moscow and St. Petersburg twice before the illegal war and women would look at me from head to feet to see what I was wearing, asking me about my watch, how much money I made etc. I found it very materialistic. Some even propose if I would take them to Italy when they knew I was married! I did not get a good impression. On the other hand, if not all, most of them, complained of abusing relationships with Russian men who drink a lot to the point they loose control and start hitting the women. I think the statement "Russian Women is the BEST Wifes!" (sic, should be Russian Women are the Best Wives!) is a generalization. I believe there are good and bad women and not all Russian women are the best wives. You need to get to know them first before deciding if they are good or bad.
I lived in Moscow for three years (2015-2018) and had a lot of Tinder dates there until I met someone I eventually married. I was in my mid 50s, overweight, bald, blah blah blah. I didn't find the women I met materialistic. I only recall two (out of dozens) who wanted to go to an expensive restaurant on an early date (and anyway most are reasonably priced outside of White Rabbit and Cafe Pushkin). Which is a huge red flag. The women who are potentially interested in something serious are more likely to appreciate a man who knows how to "make econom" while still having a good time. I turned up to quite a few initial coffee dates in shorts and tshirt, hot and sweaty on a bicycle. It didn't seem to affect the likelihood of a 2nd date happening. If you want a submissive woman I think you're looking in the wrong place if you're looking at slavic women! But I like them stroppy :-) Here's one stereotype for you: Russian and Ukrainian women are much more likely to quickly let you know where you stand and what they want (or don't) than most western women.
@@BruceHoult I took my wife to Cafe Pushkin, or she took me. There are other modern restaurants in the area, but they are modern and Americanized. I can go to many here. Cafe Pushkin is old and traditional just like the National hotel. I like traditional places. The food was so good, we went there about 5 times in each of the 2 14 days vacation there.
Later we went to St. Petersburg, nice town, and we went to the Zar palace and gardens, it was very nice. But we noticed all the Asians have groups and the women carry the backpacks on front and men make a circle around them. We did not know why, until we got mugged. We call the police BUAHAHAHAHA! There is no police in St. Petersburg. They are in a team with the thieves!!! We left the following day. We stayed in a nice hotel and were shocked by the prices of a good room. We gladly paid since we found out in another cheap hotel just a block away thieves took all the luggage and belongings from tourists from 14 different rooms! Mugging and thievery are very common in Russia. Here in Texas three times they have tried to mug me, only to pull my 17 rounds high power pistol and defend myself. In St. Petersburg I hit one of the three robbers in the neck and ran away wounded. The hotel people told me not to tell the police because they could charge me with assault... IRONIC! The Russians are not the WWII Russians, now they are little sissy boys. I asked them what they can do if they are raping their wife or daughter, and they told me to let them do it and later call the police. For what? They did nothing. Here in Texas we just shoot them. The laws here are to defend ourselves. No wonder why Russian soldiers are dying by the hundreds of thousands. They are a bunch of idiot wimps sissies. An old Russian man told me Russia won WWII because back then a lot of soldiers were strong farmers, now they are sissies. He was so correct!
My wife and I have a corporation and she makes quite a lot of money, the same or more than me. But we started going to taquerias and made our money together. I took the tour/translator, who was a nice looking woman too to the restaurant since we hired her as a translator. She later was proposing to me and wanted to me to meet her in Italy. After I told her I was happily married, she got furious and started sending stupid texts via messenger. After I did not respond, she blocked me and gave me the Russian cold treatment. Every women we talked to had a horrible story with macho abusive drunken Russian men. We were astonished to find men drinking during breakfast, which I have never seen here in the USA. In Red Square at minus 10 Deg C I saw women almost naked LOL, and many looked at us from head to toe staring at me, which made me uncomfortable. We went to dinner on the boat a couple of times and many nice restaurants and museums, including the war museum. Now, international wanted indicted war criminal Vadimir Putin converted in a push for his illegal war with a horrible exhibit perverting the genocide he is perpetrating in Ukraine and the thousands of children and innocent women he has murdered. If I'd known, I would have never visited Moscow and given my money to him.
I am glad you have a nice relationship (I hope it lasted until now). I will reinstate that it is a very good idea to get to know each other FIRST before committing to marriage. Even good people can have clashing personalities and would not get along and get into a relationship from Hell. It is best to find out you can get along and have the same ideals to make a good happy life together.
You would have had a better experience in larger regional cities like Krasnodar etc…

Helped by images for example of Snegurochka (for those who don’t know, in short, Santa’s his granddaughter). It’s indeed not the correct view of the majority of Russian woman as you’ll find these traits more in woman from Finland, the Baltic states, Ukraine, Poland, …
I’m always amused when westerners see a Russian person with Asian looks, they are so surprised. Forgetting that Russia is for a large part in Asia.

swisstestpilot, People rarely smile in public in Russia unless they are with friends or family, and even then, it is not extremely common. Adjusting to not smiling in public was one of the greatest adjustments I had to make when I moved to Moscow.

I met two women who were at one point mail order brides. They weren’t Slavic one was African and the other was from south east Asia. Both came from very poor and isolated communities. One was essentially tricked into becoming a bride and the other was sold by her family because of poverty. One was married at 16 the other at 18. They were both married to/ordered by older men who were very strange forever alone type people. In both cases their husbands abandoned them after they had given birth. Local churches found out about their situation and tried to help them as much as they could. Fortunately things worked out for both of them but they both went through very difficult times. It was disturbing for me to find out that such things could happen in my area.

What's really sad is that so many western men actually want a submissive woman rather than an equal partner in life. My father waved his checkbook at my stay-at-home mother my entire childhood, so I saw firsthand how corrosive that behavior can be to a marriage.
Dont confuse submissive with wanting traditional. The men that are willing to spend the $25K to $40grand on the entire thing are normally divorced men who want a traditional and stable family. The stats dont lie, American men that marry Russian/Ukrainian women have one of the lowest divorce rates in our nation. 37% divorce rate to the 55% divorce rate thats the national average(first 10 years).
These are men actively searching for a wife so they will normally be very committed. They will also be far more "Liberated" towards their "Russian" bride then the vast majority of Russian men would allow.

Keep that energy and marry and see how that partnership works for you. Men don’t have problems the “idea” of “partnership” as long as when it dissolves, he doesn’t have to support his ex-“partner” for life with alimony. This “partnership” is unequal in the eyes of the law. Women have a high probability of getting the children, payments for child support, and the house in this “partnership” just because of old gender roles. The male “partner” is likely to be expected to pick up more of the cost of the dissolution of the partnership and yield more at the same time.
You’re right, most men are looking for your idea of “partnership”. They’d rather go it alone than be a “partner” with limited control and expansive financial requirements.
Just because your father was an ass doesn't mean traditional gender roles are bad. They go hand in hand with religion in the US, and there are many beautiful partnerships that result. She told the story of an American man who moved to Russia to be with his Russian bride. What has changed in the last few months is that Eli no longer charges westerners for these Russian practice sessions and so any lonely Western man can now speak to Russian women for free.
