Lol enjoying* it don't matter which side of the fan page you're on, this one is always a nail bitter. Bama fans can say they dint sweat it but I promise they do. Most games vs uga aren't blow outs. Most come down to one single play, drive, turnover or score.

The other four games of the year are Georgia Texas, Georgia Ole Miss, Georgia Tennessee, and Alabama Tennessee. This year is absolutely insane.
As a die hard Dawgs fan I will have tums, rolaids, and pepto bismol close by. I have needed it every time we’ve faced Bama since forever I feel like. I know it will be a good game and I will enjoy it no matter what, but even with an expanded playoff I really, really would love to have this win. All due respect for Alabama and all that they have accomplished .
One would be a fool to expect Georgia to play anything like they did at UK. They will play great, both teams will show their full deck. Will be an absolute war

Don't say LANK this, LANK that. If you play well, then receive the rewards and accolades. I bet the offensive line when they were getting run over a couple of games ago, they were crying LANK, LANK, LANK.
You may want to think about what Chris@SECUnfiltered pointed out in his podcast today. Since 2021, when Kirby has had more than a week to get his team ready for their opponent, Georgia is 11-0, and 8 of those games were decided by 22 points or more. I would add that during that same span, they have also won 42 straight regular season games having run the table the past 3 years in what is undoubtedly the best conference in the league. They also haven't forgotten how last season ended and know this is their chance to show who really rules college football and is the next sports dynasty!!!
The storm will be long gone by Saturday. It's center will be in central Illinois by game time so it will have zero impact on the game.

Georgia can’t lose to Alabama because they still have to play Tennessee, ole miss and Texas those teams can do what Alabama does offensively and defensively. RTR
I think it comes down to the lines of scrimmage. We saw vs USF how big of a difference O-line play is for this Alabama team. If the line is healthy, I like Alabama's chances to win. If they have to shuffle players around, it will get ugly
As a Georgia fan I expect a loss. Never underestimate bama. But if we win, it will feel all that much sweeter.

I'm a Bama fan who has the same mindset. I go ahead and prepare myself for a loss, keep my mouth shut and don't do any trash talking, and am pleasantly surprised if we win. You guys will give us a good game, and I expect us to have a "quality loss." Respect. RTR.
With our weak lines (especially D-line) at this point I just don’t see us winning. But I’m still saying go dawgs! We will get better as the season progresses.

Bama fan here, The key for this game and its maybe not what most would think but it's the georgia d-line. Georgia's d-line has been very weak for the past two seasons and you saw it in the sec championship last year and against Kentucky a week ago. But even if Bama takes advantage of that Georgia will not go out with out a fight and for that I'll say 28-24 Bama with maybe 2 25+ yard rushing touchdowns for the tide RTR.
As far as I know they have a lot of injuries on their D-line so depth is a concern. Might work in our favor as the game goes on.
"very weak" might be a stretch. But you're right in that the UGA D line will be a major key to the game.
I worry about the home run nature of our (Bama's) offense. UGA is not gonna just let us pop 10 explosive plays, so we will have to matriculate it down the field to win. Can we do that?
BTW, There is a reason we've had two of the top 3 coaches of all time with 12 Natties combined under both.

I wouldn’t be so sure about that.. bama has hit explosive plays against UGA all the time. 2012 sec champ game deep pass to cooper, 2015 at Athens deep pass to Ridley, 2018 natty game. 2&26, 2020 waddle and Smitty and Metchie all had explosive catches, 2021 Sec champ game Jameson & Metchie were having a field day… all those UGA defenses were way better than what they have now.
So it’s very possible bama will hit explosive plays, maybe not 10, maybe more than 10.. we shall see.

I am a lifelong UGA fan, my wife is a lifelong Bama fan, we will not be watching this game together. I hope we win, but UGA isn't the same team it was last year. Beck isn't the same. So I remain optimistic, but if we lose it wont be a huge shocker. On the other hand for the last several years we have been tight with UK every time we face them.
These two will play each other two times this season. You heard it here first. Respect those Dawgs but rolling with the Crimson Water both times!
Bama guy here. I really thought Georgia was the better team, until last week. Bama absolutely has a good chance the win. GA looked beatable. I can't wait. Just like the Clemson/Bama years, Bama/GA games are great.

Kirby can afford plenty. He's got a good 15+ years of coaching to do. Besides regardless of the outcome of this season Georgia is about to have a retool year after this season is over.

Saban hasnt gone anywhere in case you haven't noticed. He just has a head coach doing all the recruiting and leg work now which gives him way more time to focus on how bama dominates moving forward .
As a bama fan, in my opinion i feel like it will be a tight game & whomever wins the turnover battle wins the game. So being fundamental sound means everything to both team! A early loss to either team means nothing in a 12 team playoff depending on how they finish the season. The lost really only matters to the fan base trash talk whether its the "saban is gone" or "uga cant beat bama". Both team's will still have key games to win down the road in order to keep their playoff hopes alive. In my opinion i don't think milroe gives up another big home game like last year to texas but i also understand the difficulties playing quality opponents. I think the ideal first half stat for my Crimson Tide has to be north of 100 yards rushing with at least 70 yards by Justice and Jam!! Let’s just hope the referees don’t decide the outcome of this game.
Game will be great and has meaning in the very short term, but it's not impossible or hardly unlikely that they meet one or 2 more times with much more importance and this game is just another game in the long term/legacy of these teams

Josh! You of all people should know that Coach Saban never passed for 1 touchdown or made 1 tackle! As a lifelong BAMMER , who bleeds Crimson I can tell u that these defenses are both really good HOWEVER the Bama offense is loaded and explosive and Milroe is pretty comfortable in this offense and is making better decisions! Georgia poodles are going to have to score 35+ to win! I don't see georgia being able to do that, especially playing in Tuscaloosa! Georgia doesn't have elite offensive threats like they've had in past years meaning they're going to run and do alot of dinks and dunks which Bama has elite edge rushers and the best starting linebackers in the country who can run sideline to sideline! J.Campbell/D.Lawson are big, fast, athletic, intelligent and have played alot of football! If Bama gets a 10-14 point lead before halftime its over! Bama with our full compliment of O-linemen Haynes and Jam can just run the ball and melt the clock when they want. The Saban legacy wins Saturday no matter who wins the game. This scenario is all new for Georgia. It's tough to maintain a high standard over multiple seasons with staff changes, player challenges and all the voices in your collective heads!
In a way, both teams are the underdog.

Regardless of how it works out on the stat sheet or within the rankings, I think there are occasionally games a coach/team simply has to win: could be the first game, could be the fourth game, it all depends. This is absolutely one of those games for my Dawgs.
Now that Saban's gone, Kirby needs to show himself, his players and the rest of the college football landscape that they're top dawgs (pardon the pun). With this sport being the way it is now, perception of a team is more important than ever, and Kirby and co. need to prove they're as good as we all know they are. The best teams win the hardest games in the toughest environments, and this one absolutely qualifies.
Make no mistake, I expect Georgia to win, but it ain't gonna be easy. After all, there's only been one Georgia coach to ever beat Bama in Tuscaloosa, and that was Mark Richt: he did it twice ('02 and '07).

As a Dawgs fan this is a fence we just have problems climbing at the moment. Kirby just had a mental block coaching against Nick. The game he won was due to some incredible players making it happen. I see this as his chance to start leveling up against Bama. We know that Nick probably has told and discussed Kirby's tendencies and game plan to the new Coach. I think this win goes and helps Ga better than hurting Bama. Ga needs confidence that this Nemesis will not haunt them especially if we play them again. I am a Ga fan , but can see this going bad if this game goes bad. This can become two Bama bad games if we meet again later if this one goes wrong. Either way Go Dawgs.

According to the models I've seen, the hurricane should be past Tuscaloosa by Saturday, so even though the field will be wet, the chance of rain is low. Hopefully, we don't have a mud bowl, and we can see these teams really lay it all out on the field
Bryant Denny has a very good drainage system under the field. It wont even be wet.
I just hope Kirby doesn’t put two spy’s on Milroe like last year. Last year was essentially 9 vs 11 bc two LBs literally just stood still watching the QB most of the game.
Since smart has coached ga is 1-5 against bama. DeBoer has elevated Bama’s offense so far. What has Bama’s scores been last two years against teams like usf, Wisconsin, western Kentucky lol. That’s all I got to say.
Georgia coming to town! I love it. Georgia can win this game, Alabama can win this game. If we play like how we did against USF, Georgia is gonna manhandle us. If we play like how we did against Wisconsin, Alabama could win this game. 3 things for Alabama to win….. 1. Milroe has to play good. He has to, 2. O-Line needs to play well to, 3. Defense need to get stops, this will be the best offense we’ve played so far. They have to play well. The Key is Milroe. Milroe has to be play his best game
I'm of the mindset that Georgia will win. Just remember, a win or loss isn't the end of the world for either team. They can still meet each other in the playoffs or for the Chip. Just like the year LSU beat Bama and then Bama played LSU for the natty and won.

Bama has the edge at running back by a long shot Miller, Haynes, Young is a 3 headed monster. I expect Hill to get some looks while Young recovers. I give skill players edge to Bama, O line to Bama, running backs and Qb to Bama. Beck is better NFL prospect though but Jalen is better suited to win and dominate college game. Beck isnt going to hurt you dual threat. Georgia has the slight edge defensively.

Michigan vs. Alabama for the National Championship. Kalen DeBoer and Alabama get a shot at redemption from last years playoff. Alex Orji vs. Jalen Milroe features two Texas-born Herculean athletes playing the QB position, in a Marvel comics level Clash of the Titans. Post-Saban. Post-Harbaugh. For all the marbles.
Rain like Hell!..Beck not a runner, Milroe is and if this turns into a ground game, Bama has a great edge..
UGA can’t make too much of this game win or lose not with the remaining schedule (Texas, Tenn, Ole Miss). Kirby will have them physically ready to play but the players have to get that mental toughness to get over the bama hump!

Alabama defense will struggle to stop the run but Georgia will to. I think Bama defense holds up better against pass than Georgia. I expect them to pressure Milroe early so he needs to have his head on swivel but I also think Bama needs to come after Beck. This will be an offensive game that comes down to field position, turnovers, and who can capitalize on time of possession in 2nd half. Ga wins the game IF:
*They can run the football effectively in early down situations and stay ahead of the chains.
It sets up their PA game,in which Beck is so good and accurate at.RB's are good. How good? NOT as good as in the past without question. But decent enough.
*They beat THE TIDE over the top 2-3 times for big plays(Arian Smith watch).Ga doesnt have the best WR room or TE room in America. There is NO question about that. But they are NOT exactly chopped liver either in Smith,Lovett,Young,Bell,Humphries,Luckie,and Delp. And they will screen a lot,also to the backs.
*Their O-Line plays up,and are better than I believe they are.
*They win the Turnover battle,we cant block their front(Which I seriously believe we kick their ass),we dont neutralize the speed of their LB's, they whip us on the 2nd level,and the perimeter with numbers,their backend comes up big,and Jalen pisses down his leg. THE TIDE's ballcatchers have to WIN in 1on1 matchups and 50/50 balls..

Edge-Push....so many outstanding,explosive players if all are "reasonably" healthy and can play....
ILB-Push-The same....I think THE TIDE has a higher ceiling(Especially if Lawson is active,physical,and plays fast-in fact IF he does then I give the edge to Bama with Campbell+JJ also)
Secondary-Push...Both are athletically and speed-wise,outstanding .....Let's see who makes MORE plays and LESS mistakes.....
