This book has literally every single extra from every prior release. (They even included Chris Schweizer's introductions from the library editions!) It is the ultimate way to read the series. Great video, Omar. I can't wait till my copy arrives!
I told myself I wasn’t going to buy anymore books this year. I think I’m going to have to break that. This looks amazing. Thanks for the overview Omar!
Only just got the two omni trades recently, which has got me back into a comics binge this year. Great read and was familiar to a podcast i got into “Old Gods of the Appalachia”. Those library editions look nice too.
Love Crook's artwork in this series so much. I have the two softcover omnibus editions and knew I wanted to upgrade to a bigger edition as soon as one became available. Two of my favorite original pages in my collection
I already own the complete volumes, but I’m not sure if I should get this hardcover slipcase edition. It’s so tempting… It’s from my favorite series of all time, with an amazing story and art, and highly recommended. Thanks, Omar, for that review! 🎉
Nice overview! If I didn’t already own the Library Editions I’d be picking this up in a heartbeat! If you missed out on the hardcovers the first time, try to buy this if it’s in your budget! 👍🏼💙
@@mdb9920 im a sucker for slipcases, but we need to play smart in the long run… unless you just sell your libraries and buy this. You will get at least half the money needed.
I want to buy this book the only thing that makes me undecided is that it's a library size omnibus & I wasnt the biggest fan of the big damn sin city book as far as size
It's the best horror comic of the last 20 or more years, yes buy it and treasure it and read it more than once. The artwork is simply fantastic throughout.
Not really. If you bought all 8 of the original trades when they first came out, you'd have paid $160. This is $150. I'm honestly surprised Dark Horse got the price down this low.
The colors are not identical. The condensed tones on the COMPLETE EDITION are much more evident, probably due to paper stock choices and printing, obviously. Still i say the Library Editions are a better choice for pratical reading and handling. DH should really reprint them instead of this mammoth single volume.

Dude for real!!!
Killing me...and my wallet...
I hope they do the same with The Goon Library Editions! I have the two omnibus paperbacks of HC, but will be upgrading to this now
Fuck yeah
Omar your reviews are so good. Give us everything we want, comparisons, content, your own thoughts… so good.
Thank you for the kind words.
Also, I've got to add, Tales from Harrow County is also great. More people need to read that series.
Dark Horse makes the best quality library hardcovers. Hands down.
I only have vol 1 of the paperback. Def going to be picking this one up.
Been waiting for this, bummed I missed out on the library editions. This version looks great though.
I'm so glad I pre-ordered this. Thanks for the overview!
Really excited for this one! This and Delano’s Hellblazer are the last two pickups I plan for the year
Wish astro city would come out
Oooh, I've been waiting for this video! Wanted to see what this looks like.
I’ve had this on pre-order the second I found out it was going to be released can’t wait for it to arrive looks incredible

Another absolute size…. My poor Billy.
Billy Club member!
This is a very special comic series.
I guess is the perfect time to read this story
Can’t wait to get this🎉
I already own the library editions… uh… I’m tempted.
That’s more than enough. This is just worth for someone that doesn’t have any of those, like me.
@@andrecrispim3209 that slip case is so cool though. Your right. I can’t double dip here.

@@mdb9920 if you already have the library editions of tales, then don’t sell it and just stay with them. Don’t bother
Omar makes the sale, taking my Halloween candy $
Man this is cool. I wish more series would get editions like this. Does this series have a lot of death and supernatural creatures like sixth gun?
Yep, I would say it's more gory than Sixth Gun too
Now i can finally buy this comic now.
I will be buying this
I want!!!

Is this series worth a blind buy? Ive never read it but it looks awesome
If you like horror, it's a must-buy comic.
100% yes.
