- It's a gorgeous day out here on Lake Erie with that perfect walleye chop and we're out here trolling for walleye! Normally, I prefer to jig for walleye, but this time I wanted to troll so I can cover a lot more water because the walleye are a bit more scattered.

I fly fished years ago and maybe someday i will get back into it again :)
Do fish smaller lakes if so say laye is 45 ft deepest but walleye usually in 12 to 30 ft sorry to show my ignorance

You're actually permitted to have 3 rods per licensed fisherman .....new this year. I enjoy your videos. I'd take every day on Lake Erie like that.

Your lures always seem so productive and when I see one I don't have yet...I have to buy them...so today I'm going to order some....another thing how can you control your dipsys to go to a certain depth?
there is a chart you can follow which will explain how many feet of line to let out, to obtain the depth you desire - just do a google search for Dipsy diver depth chart, and you will see it :) Good luck out there John and good fishing

I SSE THE VIDEO WAS RELEASED ON SEPT 8 TODAY WHEN WAS THE TRIP SHOT? ON SUNDAY WENT OF CATT CREEK AND THE FISH WERE IN 8O TO 85 FT DEEP. YOUR FISH WERE IN 45 TO 55 FT.
