I saw this in Pittsburgh. When they announced they'd be doing Link's Awakening, I was ecstatic. When they began playing the medley, I was brought to tears. Link's Awakening is by far my favorite Zelda game of all time, and hearing it in this way was the most incredible thing that I have ever musically experienced.
Yami Believe it or not, despite it being so "primitive" looking with such old graphics, it is still the only Zelda game that made me teary eyed at the end when I first played it 20 years ago.
+Mr. Gabe Yup, and the ballad of the windfish playing, with its bittersweet atmosphere, really doesn't help keeping those damn eyes dry. I mean damn, I'm supposed to be a grown-up now! Link's Awakening musics are incredibly underrated. Considering the limitations of the GameBoy sound chip, that they were able to come up with such memorable pieces will never cease to amaze me.
I remember that time when my father brought a CD at home with an emulator program and some videogame roms. For the Gameboy Color and Advance. When I tried the Color one, there was the first Super Mario port, but also Link's Awakening. I got so much into the game and was very fun to play. Nowadays, and now being an adult, I can't but notice how my tears go down while hearing to this arrangement and seeing the videos from the game. Nostalgia is surely powerful.
BRAVO BRAVO!!! i grew up playing this game in the 90s! It resonates with me so deep. The video editing and the orchestral timing is immaculate! I wish more orechestrated arrangements were like this with videos! So entertaining and sonically spell binding at the same time!😭😭😊👏
I've played this only once, last year, and this is simply beautiful. It's my 9th favorite in the series, but as many can testify (me being one of them), this game always had a charm to itself
I honestly feel that a duet between a single vocalist and the flute during Ballad of the Wind Fish would have been better than an entire choir, but I still enjoyed it
my truly first zelda game, i played ocarina, but i never ended'it until the GC version, all the handheld zelda's are underrated, and this is by far my favorite...the one that makes you to don't want to be the hero...dam Marin...:(
lol I like how the part with the cuccos is only a couple seconds long and everyone just knows. They just know. xD I haven't played this game, but a very good story is portrayed with this. I need to play this some time. :D
You mean the iconic tune I wanted to hear when I clicked on the video? Yeah, I was wondering where that went as well. Maybe copyright, permission, or just the fact it would overshadow the rest of the piece. It still would have been nice to hear :)
Also I felt like crying because I love this game but it has such a sad ending... Or, more like a begining... because link could be on Koholint Island after the events of the game!
Ignoring marin's transformation to that bird -.- nintendo should make a sequel to link's awakening, like showing that marin actually exist and koholint too. I'd love that, sure they could pull it off like they did with a link between worlds
Tu idea es demasiado complaciente. Veo que muchos realmente quieren refugiarse en el escapismo y no pueden entender algo tan simple como que "los sueños no duran para siempre", o el verdadero valor de la realidad.
Out of all Zelda game, Links Awakening themes are my favorite
I cried so hard.....I feel so blessed to have had this game, this series, as a part of my life...
i feel exactly the same!! i was in one show and i couldn't stop crying!! is more than a game!!
The same!
You’re about to cry even harder when it launches on the switch
5 year old comment. But I still sincerely agree with you.
Iug :s

Despite never playing Link's Awakening, this piece moved me to tears.
PLAY IT. It's a Zelda game with an atmosphere unlike any other. Really strange, really delightful
It's definately one of my top 5 zelda games
Yami Believe it or not, despite it being so "primitive" looking with such old graphics, it is still the only Zelda game that made me teary eyed at the end when I first played it 20 years ago.
Yami Is one of the best Zelda games, it´s magical

sword search is my favorite zelda tune! link's awakening is my favorite zelda game! i love this!
missandthrowpee mine was Tal Tal Heights.
The whole performance was outstanding! but Dungeon Lvl. 6 gave me goosebumps! Beautiful!
Alright, so, I'm sobbing.
The arrangements that these concerts had blow every other orchestral version out of the water.
Man that rendition of tal tal heights was great. My favorite song from the game. You know shit's about to go down when that song plays.
Why didn't they play this arrangement in future concerts is beyond me. It has to be one of the best arrangements of SotG, if not the best.
My favorite suite in the whole concert. Never fails to reduce me to tears.
It's so amazing and beautifull... i had the chance to see this concert live and it was the most amazing and touching experience in my life...
Same, saw it at The Greek last summer. There's something about hearing it amplified around an arena that makes it so much worth it.
I remember that time when my father brought a CD at home with an emulator program and some videogame roms.

Important: marching band drums on the ballad at 8:05 really resembles the hyrule castle theme from botw years later
This and Spirit tracks always moves me to tears!
Everybody can't stop their joy when seeing marin in the screen
I've played this only once, last year, and this is simply beautiful. It's my 9th favorite in the series, but as many can testify (me being one of them), this game always had a charm to itself
Its really sad that symphony of the goddesses has officialy ended
Saw this concert in Atlanta. This was one of my favorite scores of the night. Glad to see it again.
Absolutely amazing!! This gave me goosebumps, I absolutely loved this game when I was a kid
This is the best movement they perform! I'd love to get a download of this!!!
I honestly feel that a duet between a single vocalist and the flute during Ballad of the Wind Fish would have been better than an entire choir, but I still enjoyed it
One of the first games I owned and one of my favorite games of all time! I think I have to replay it again soon.
My 3rd fav game from Zelda series, honestly a masterpiece
Same! OoT, MM and LA are my favorites.
Superb
Simply awesome
The ending is so empowering.. still sad.
i love that mountain theme song from this game... so good...
5.56 - my favourite part!
my truly first zelda game, i played ocarina, but i never ended'it until the GC version, all the handheld zelda's are underrated, and this is by far my favorite...the one that makes you to don't want to be the hero...dam Marin...:(
i just finished the remake on the switch, this was amazing!
I like how everyone in the audience is laughing and meanwhile I'm sitting here with goosebumps the size of dimes
same here! =D Glad I'm not the only one who was looking up videos for these tracks the very next day x__x
That Tal Tal Heights though... 5:00
Gracias a esto vine 🎺👌👌👌
Sword Search; I cried.
lol I like how the part with the cuccos is only a couple seconds long and everyone just knows. They just know. xD
I haven't played this game, but a very good story is portrayed with this. I need to play this some time. :D
Kitty Lue Even better when link walked behind the shopkeeper, and every immediately knew what was coming next
Remake confirmed!
*LINKS AWAKENING REMAKE*
Music begins at 1:56
In the end, when the people where starting to applaud, is literally the noise of when i drop my phone.
Tambien cuando abres un bote de plastico nuevo
Came here after the remake announcement
I cried at 3:28
Beautiful!.. but...how could you pass the best kicker moment which supposed to be on 3:09 :'(
Also, they didn´t play the ending theme :( but Mabe Village and the Sword Search themes sounds really beautiful
You mean the iconic tune I wanted to hear when I clicked on the video? Yeah, I was wondering where that went as well. Maybe copyright, permission, or just the fact it would overshadow the rest of the piece. It still would have been nice to hear :)
Crowd obviously doesn't go to the symphony often lmao lets go gamers
Orchestra: *playing seriously*
Link on the screen: *stealing a bunch of shit*
My best part is one link steals a shovel and do not mess around with the chickens
Everyone laughing at 4:29 :)
Cant seem to find the original name of the music that starts at 7:18 in the ost. What is it?
isnt that the face shrine theme? I think it is.
saw this yesterday in LA
Wow, the horns went all out
Take notes, Triforce Heroes. This is how you do a Zelda game without Zelda and Ganon.
Tri Force Heroes is focused on multiplayer, this game does not
8:31 😊
OMG, the ending... :'(
Links Awakening, Best one ever. And when i saw the Monkeys I thought 1 Movie line... Super Mario Bros. Movie: Koopa; Monkey!
Also I felt like crying because I love this game but it has such a sad ending... Or, more like a begining... because link could be on Koholint Island after the events of the game!
Does damn ninjas that are cutting onions in my house.
*claps*
Ignoring marin's transformation to that bird -.- nintendo should make a sequel to link's awakening, like showing that marin actually exist and koholint too. I'd love that, sure they could pull it off like they did with a link between worlds
that would be amazing if they made it into a 3D version
Did you play it?
@@veranash6916 four years late but guess what dude
Tu idea es demasiado complaciente. Veo que muchos realmente quieren refugiarse en el escapismo y no pueden entender algo tan simple como que "los sueños no duran para siempre", o el verdadero valor de la realidad.
Nah, we have the remastered
It is all good, but 8:05 for my reference
Nice!
Did you already order NSW version?
I did!
I’ll go to a store on Sep. 20 to purchase.
スイッチ版予約しました?
俺は発売日に買ってきます。
Is Symphony of the Goddesses going to come back once the remake comes out?
"When we were growing up, we had three major things in our lives: video games, music and boobies."
Yep I can identify with that >:D
W-why is there a onion here?
wtf they didn't play the best overworld theme in the series?
They are using the hack version instead of the original black and white version.
no, they are using Gameboy color remake of the game.
:')
Their violinist was pretty out of time in Sword Search...
Microsoft und Sony haben genau das nicht,.....
