I like the 2 axis gimbals, even the 1 axis. Because if you have a decent stabilization in device (smartphone o Action camera), then the stabilization in app (in Google photos) doesn't produce problems at all and the footage looks really good and stable
True that! The Google photos stabilization can sometimes be quite phenomenal!
@@TechMishka but without a Horizon level like a one or two axis gimbal the Google photos stabilization doesn't works so well, produces artifacts, jello effect and doesn't look pleasant. So, a little one or two axis gimbal + smartphone o actioncam EIS + Google photos (or other app), results in a very good stable video

Yes, it can hold an action cam if you use a conversion plate. Stabilization will not be superb though.
It's a good product for the price imo because the lack of the third axis has been compensated by the extendable selfie arm which is useful for Vlogging.
true that! I used it more often as expandable selfie stick. If your phone has some sort of stabilization - results can be quite good.

Which camera of the 1+8 did you use for the flog test? It looks like the front one tbh. It's a very interesting product though, and great video!
Yeah, it was the front one. I still believe the phone is overpriced and the fact that videos in 4K have no constant frame rate is annoying.

Slightly better build quality, and better colors. I believe the mechanical part is more or less the same.
