I've only found you in the last few weeks and to this date Freckles has been my favorite track. But I've now listened to this 5x in a row and each time, as it ends, I exhale a breath I hadn't realized I'd been holding and sigh, "DAMN they're good."
As a fumbling noob bassist, I'm agog at Pete's skill but the whole group is soooo tight I goggle at each musician in succession as my focus follows the lead. Oh, wait, it's started back up again..

In case nobody knows this this is a James Brown instrumental. And they sound excellent except they’re not playing the funk riff with the guitar. But that’s fine if they want to play it that way because when James Brown covered other peoples music he always changed it sometimes significantly also.
