- In this video, I return after a long hiatus and share some personal updates and future plans. I discuss a recent loss, explaining how my brother passed away from cancer and the challenges I faced dealing with the aftermath. Despite the tough times, I'm ready to move forward and get back to making videos.
I reveal plans for the channel, including an upcoming trip to Dartmoor and a new photography project. I also share some new camping gear I've acquired, such as the and a durable pair of Grisport boots. I reflect on my content approach, emphasizing the importance of passion and creativity over chasing algorithms.

Thank you Sharon, it's good to see the sun again!
Hi Rob I’m so sorry to learn about the sudden death of your brother especially when he was living so far away. As someone who’s had cancer, but survived, my heart always goes out to those who’ve lost a loved one to cancer. I lost my dad in November last, but he passed away due to old age at 96 years. But it still creates an emotional void. Then there is all the upheaval of winding up his estate to tackle too. I send you my deepest condolences and hope that making your walking videos can be therapeutic.
Thank you Mark, well done for beating it! Yes it was indeed very complicated with the distance, dealing with a different legal system and with the time zone difference. A very difficult period of my life but thankfully walking has always been therapy for me and a great time to contemplate on things.
Good to see you back
Thank you Phill.
