Great! I was going to direct you to this video but you found it on your own :) Now, you might be aware that the latest version of Camtasia is out? It looks like very good value, I"m looking forward to trying track matte and new webcam control features. Great video. Good job condensing all of that info just 4 minutes total! I wasn't aware transitions could be this powerful and easy to use.

Great video. I used this trick and also adapted the technique for some other transitions. I could never have done that without this video.

Hi Ian, I'm so pleased you've been able to learn and run with this technique. That's so satisfying to hear :)

i wanted to learn more such more transitions? like multi color circular clock transition, center to outward flowing transitions showing the content in between etc. if u could do another video of custom transitions like the above ones. it will be really helpful for you. Thank you again i learned a lot through your videos.

Thank you for the nice knowledge you provide me. Now i am able to create a custom transition like the one you did. But i am unable to time it in my video. Where do you place this transition in the video? Split and place in the gap between the two sections? or overwrite it by placing in separate track? or by extending frame of the last piece of video and then overwrite it using another track?

Thank you. So, basically, all we need to create cool transitions is to play with the animation feature. Interesting!

Great use of transitions! One question: Can you save this transition somehow in order to use it easily in different videos?
