OLAF - Role / Work

Each year, millions of euros can be lost from the EU budget due to corruption and fraud. OLAF, the European Anti-Fraud Office, detects when EU money is not spent correctly, investigates fraud against the EU budget and protect taxpayers’ money by giving the authorities the evidence they need to prosecute criminal activity.
