I'm learning quite a bit about this thanks bro. I'm a chef and be happy to tell you what to do with it all like the tendrils you cut off we use those as garnish on dishes as well as the flowers.
@@JimmyBHarvests Peas arrived today along with a lot of other stuff! I started lettuce, peas and kale today to put into the hydroponics. Tomatoes seeds planted too, but they'll go in containers outside
It’s interesting how yours grew so many side branches because mine are only growing one street vine and there were about 5 to 6 feet tall right now growing up my trellis
You can check out the advanced nutrients review video on my channel. I mix the nutrients the way the bottles say to do it and it’s as simple as that. I never check or balance ph, check PPM, any of that. Just mix in the ratios the bottles say and it takes care of itself. Next product on the market in my opinion for that reason
Hello can you please tell me what nutrients you use for the kratky method. I'm just starting out with the kratky method. And you are doing what I want to try. Thanks
I have used two different brands and they are mostly the same. I find the Advanced Nutrients micro/grow/bloom series to be the most user friendly - it typically will balance itself to a plant friendly pH level, not requiring pH up/down adjustments. Amazon link in video description. All are good though, follow the bottle instructions.
Thanks! I was able to get about 60 pea pods off of the plant in total if I recall correctly. They grow pretty quick- everything was harvested and done within 90 days or so
9 days to germinate... ouch. With a heating pad mine sprouted in 3 days. I did the same, a tiny piece of rockwool with a little rockwool blanket on top... but I didn't put them in a dark room, they were covered by the little rock wool on top, so no light would bother them until they germinated anyway... once they had a tiny sprout, I rearranged the rock wool so the seed stayed moist but the little green shoot was free to reach up to the light. Just a thought for others, heat and no dark room... but my seeds were fresh, and out of 15 seeds I had 13 germinate. Try sugar Daddy snap peas also (you had snow peas there, they're excellent in stir fry or any kind of soup, plus eating raw) they are even sweeter and there is no 'string' on the edges to be annoying.
My Krakty sweet peas are growing 3’ tall and happy except No flowers. Using 3 part MasterBlend and have had much success with other vegetables until now, any ideas?
Got a few more snack-sized harvests from the plant before the plant finally gave out. I was able to harvest a bunch of pods for seeds though- video coming soon!
JimmyB Harvests Ah! I wonder if there are other vegetables like tomatoes that can be either determinate or indeterminate? It’d be awesome to be able to just keep growing food year round inside the house.
what is the nutrient mix you have used and would youplease tell us all the details about nutrient mixture , how much and when to give them to the plant.
12 hours of light per day, mixture of sunlight and LED. the seeds I don’t know much about as the packaging is not in English. Sorry I can’t provide more detail
I go 4ml of each micro/grow/bloom for all stages of plant growth. You could do less at early stages but I usually just mix one container and use it to top up multiple plants.
My plant did not regrow any pods I picked, but it did continue to grow new branches with new pods on them. Eventually my plant gave out, started browning/drying out in its leaves and I cut it down at that point. In my harvesting pea seeds video you can get an idea of how big the plant got and how it looked at the end

😂😂
ha ha ha ha Good one! Must be tasty.
best part of the video is seeing your reactions when you ate one

Great video!! I have an heirloom dwarf sugar pea plant growing. 35 days and it already has 3 pods. So easy. Thanks for sharing.
Love it. Best of luck with your plant!

I just ordered peas to try out and then I found this video! Can't wait for them to arrive and get started! This is excellent - thanks!

Thanks bro been looking for a video on peas
My pleasure! Hope it helped you
my first pea pod is forming, the flowers are beautiful! i can't wait to try them out! hahaha
That’s awesome! Good luck with the rest of your grow!
Great job. Keep up the good work.

One “straight” vine. Low production tho
Good stuff....
I’m working on mines now I’m 2 weeks in
Good luck with the grow!
Thanks 🙏
Great work
Any chance you could do a video talking about specifics on how you did nutrients? Like ratios and when you changed the strength of the solution.

I would top up the bucket maybe once a week as the plant absorbed the water. Never a full change out of the reservoir though.

Can you share a link with what peas you used? Great video thanks for sharing!
Sorry, I cant find the seeds online. Best bet is usually to head to a local nursery and see whats available there
@@JimmyBHarvests No worries and thanks for checking!
Hi
Amazing vidéo and very motivating. How long did it take before you started giving you peas. Do you know how much you yielded from the 1 plant ?
Thanks! I was able to get about 60 pea pods off of the plant in total if I recall correctly. They grow pretty quick- everything was harvested and done within 90 days or so

Not enough light would be my guess. Aim for 14-16 hours a day
Cool man! I wonder if it will keep on growing and producing more peas, or will it stop and die?

What strains you have going? Kratky or dwc for the other herbs
Kratky!
Just curious, why do you germinate your bean seeds in the dark? when I was a kid we used to put them on paper towels and in a bag and in the window.
My understanding is that this leads to higher germination rates. I think the purpose is to mimic the dark of seeds being buried in soil?

I grew these with advanced nutrients micro / grow / bloom, following the instructions on the bottles. Link in video description

How many hours per day of light and what breed of seeds did you use?
12 hours of light per day, mixture of sunlight and LED. the seeds I don’t know much about as the packaging is not in English. Sorry I can’t provide more detail
Chinese snow peas are a good variety to try

Hi. Is this bean resistant to hot porcelain
I have no idea, sorry
can you tell me the nutrients you put in the water?
Advanced Nutrients - micro, grow and bloom. A 3 part base nutrients series.
Thank you for your video. Question, after you pick off all 60 or so pods, will more continue to grow? How long do those take to re grow? Thanks!
