Whenever I click on an at home hydroponic video and hear the distinctive "hello friends" I know I am in good hands and I know I am going to learn something new that is going to carry on for a lifetime. I appreciate you, thank you! :)
Your video is 2 years old but it has been so helpful! I'm about to try peas/snap peas in my Aerogarden and IDOO. I'm trying a Tom Thumb pea in a 10 pod IDOO and a Snack Hero snap pea in Harvest XL. I will soak seeds in water and then put one seed per grow sponge...and cut the sponge along the side so it has more space. I'm hoping for success with both!
Thank you so much for posting this. I get that same mushy mold with the snap peas too. Never with any other plants. Just them. I'm going to try your method!
It seems like you bought really cheap seeds. 4 pkgs. for $1? Maybe they were old? And yet, you still ended up with a beautiful crop. Thanks for sharing. I just planted 2 sugar snaps in my Aerogarden, and they both germinated. So far, so good. And yes, I liked and subscribed. Keep posting.
Love all your videos and experiments, thanks so much for uploading. Could you kindly share the link to the additional clip on grow lights you have on the sides as additional support? I see it at 6:13, it seems to have around 3 arms or so. Thank you!
The same has happened to me. It also happens with all cucumber or squash zucchini shaped seeds and I’ve been trying to figure out what to do. I like your idea of doing it this way so I will have to try it. Thank you.
What would have happened if you just left the plants in the Cocoa coir? Would they have kept growing and eventually start producing peas? I need to grow a bunch of peas indoors thanks to a parrot who can't seem to get enough (neither can I...lol).
Technically we can continue growing them in cups with coco coir as long as we feed them with nutrition water, provide enough light, and give them a good support to climb up as they grow. Maybe worth picking specific varieties such as Tom Thumb Dwarf peas which naturally stay short.
This is exactly what I have - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089PYKC2D You can just search for "Gooseneck Full Spectrum Plant Grow Lamp" on Amazon to find all the products with bendable arms.
This video about snap peas is 2 years old, but i would have a question maybe you can answer: I want to grow peas and beans in hydroponics and i read they need less nitrogen than other plants. Can you remember how strong the nutrient solution was? Did you use it normal strength or only half strength?
0:52 - Bruhh... you let the seeds to be soaked to death in the aerogarden. Maybe if you let the Aerogarden to mist only twice per day, the seeds would've not died and would be able to properly dry off every time it got wet.

Thank you so much for your kind words. That means a lot to me.
By the way, you have a great channel. I just got my brother an Aerogarden for his birthday, and am recommending your channel to him.
Thank you so much. You are so kind.
This is awesome!
I grew snow peas in my grow room , they produced ok and were delicious.

Great video, and I enjoyed watching your determination to make the snap peas grow 😊. Keep up the good work..
Really like your experiments! Thanks for doing this. Saves me loads of time and makes it more motivating. Have you done some on strawberries?
Thank you! I have one on strawberries too. th-cam.com/video/7SoYyifZqlA/w-d-xo.html

Thank you for sharing ! I love it!
wow those plants are growing like crazy
Your experiments are truly informative. Thank you
I really enjoy watching your experiments ! How did they taste? Did you like their taste?
Taste is very good and same as the snap pea from my backyard. I am harvesting about 10 every 3 days and the taste is consistently good.
You grew a crazy jungle!!!!

Cool! What has been your best harvesting legume?
After 30 days it starts to look like a movie where nature has taken back over an abandoned place, lol.
Can you please do follow up for your strawberry? The last time was a fail, I saw them now. Looking healthy.
Thank you for these interesting videos!
Awesome, been thinking of growing one of these in mine. How many flushes did you get before it died off?
I got only one crop but it lasted little longer. I was able to harvest a few peas every other day for about 4 weeks.

Another great video, thank you! If you mentioned it, I missed it - did you use any type of trellis?
Hi, I am not using any trellis as of now. I have it in a wired shelving unit and the plants are climbing very easily.
Not sure you’ll see this but could you share the details of the additional lamp you are using? It had bendable arms. Thanks in advance.

I just used Aerogarden nutrients as recommended for the Harvest model. Never measured the strength of nutrients.
@@aerogardenexperiments So normal strength, understood. Thanks for your quick response. :-)
With peas tomatoes spinach broccoli that's 500 calories and 20 protein. That's almost 1/3 rd of daily requirements.

I grew those snap peas last year on a 6 foot TP trellis. Those were good. I’d definitely not grow these in my AGs
Yeah, these went crazy in Aerogarden.
