The most common accident where riders are injured is where a car rear ends a bike they didn't realise was there. Lane filtering allows bikes to move to the front and accelerate away from traffic. It is now illegal in Victoria to make U Turns at traffic lights, unless sign posted that it is permitted. This law has been in effect for almost 10 years now.
@@ClayBlackcx You want to check out other Road rules that were different in Victoria to the rest of the country too, as many have changed so there is 1 standard road rules throughout the country. Many of the road rules in regarding trams like in the City, haven't changed. I travel to Victoria and Melbourne very frequently for work.
In general the seems to be a shortage of cops on the road.
