@@bruhder5854 i mean i’m sure it won’t be as loot crazy as certain games where you can upgrade any weapon, crafting paths, etc. but you should probably be prepared to be swapping weapon types and different weapons of certain types. it all depends though. depending on how they’re choosing to finalize the gameplay, our MC may have one traditional weapon and combat style that he sticks to for the whole game, just unlocking new techniques
I really wanted game companies to try implementing a DMC style combat gameplay. Its a flawless combat system that a lot of people underexaggerated how good the system is.
It's interesting that if you play this game right, you actually played it like a old-school JRPG which you do tons of decisions and build up crazy combo...
Aside from the donguri flawless gameplay as always. I really appreciate that you kept boss theme as is, because there aren't really any better alternatives that can match the tempo for each phase like the original.

And it for sure is taking inspiration from DMC5, the game even has Jump Cancels!

There’s an accessory called Götterdämmerung that fills up the limit gauge at the start of every fight and then keeps filling it over time afterwards. You get one from the Hard-exclusive secret boss in the Shinra Battle Simulator, and two more if you beat the even harder boss added alongside Intermission.
