      Palider they pretty much did. since the males are always DTF and the female can remove the sperm. she could fuck a few to find out which is the most suitable by her standards and go back to her main choice and not reject his sperm.

    • @TessaBain
      @TessaBain 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      +Lara Orane On a small scale yes, but not the bigger picture.
      Problem is you can't really judge genetics based on what you think you know about people.
      It ultimately means that men may produce a lot of lesser quality children but they're also much more likely to create quality ones because it's in quantity.
      If there are 10 people with great genetics in 100 people someone can choose from and they only choose one of the hundred, they're far less likely to hit one of those 10 than someone else who chooses 25 of the hundred.
      And even if the first person does happen to get one of those ten, the one who chose 25 may very well have gotten all of the 10.

    If you want to follow your dreams and a family is part of your dream, then go for it. If you're afraid of contributing to an already large population, maybe only have one or two kids. If you wanted a big family, then adopt so you can love lots of kids that need a family

    I really disagree with showing ducks of all animals and using the word "cooperative" in the same scene. Does the creator realize how ducks reproduce? It's sadly thru forced copulation. I'm pretty sure female ducks don't cooperate -- especially when they are often chased by several males, all forcing the same thing. Female ducks have been hazed near to the point of death -- sadly I've seen this with my own eyes...
    Also... Maybe a warning that your showing animal genitals. I didn't ask to see a duck penis in the past... Nor today.

    • @Primalxbeast
      @Primalxbeast 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      +Crux161 That was just leading into an explanation of how it more competitive than cooperative. "in ONE sense mating is cooperative, BUT"... and then goes on to explain why it mostly isn't. Are you genetically predisposed to be so stupid or were you dropped on your head too many times as a child? And if you're so terribly triggered by seeing animal's dicks, don't click on videos about animal reproduction. You idiots who want trigger warnings for everything should just avoid the internet all together.

    0:30 "Most males spend little time or energy parenting"
    0:43 "[Females] spend lots of time and energy caring for their young"
    These two things are presented as an explanatory factor, while they're most likely a result of the factors that are stated two seconds earlier respectively (males mass produce sperm => they don't have to care about their offsprings, going after other females increases the chances of having many of them ; females have few eggs => hence the need to take care of the offsprings these eggs produce)

      It's really not. Humans are naturally serial monogamists. Which is what we are going back to. Staying with one person forever was unnatural. If it was natural, it wouldn't be so difficult and almost never work unless man-made unnatural laws are put in place to prevent it.
      Monogamy just means one at a time. Which is what almost everyone does. Even if they break up later.

    But the ring has lost power as marriage can be broken now. And people don't understand that they have to understand and try to help their partner in their weaknesses and motivate them in the language most familiar for them. But also accept the help that their given. And three things more important for a marriage is to know him/her as a best friend since that way you will be able to realize when he's at the lowest or the highest. The second thing is for you two to try your best to make it and never try to get your partner jealous, guilty or confused as that will rip the relationship. And lastly comunicate and listen but keep him/her and yourself in the limits that you have starting with yourself. But what do I really know, I have only seen from outside bad and good marriages.

    Humans are and always have been serial monogamists. It takes so much energy to raise a human child that you need BOTH parents to take care of it, for aproximately 3-4 years. That is not coincidentally the amount of time being in love lasts, unless you have another child. And in nature, 3-4 years is the exact interval between children, due to lower amounts of (fatty) food and prolonged lactation. It is not uncommon that a couple develops a bond that will outlast that amount of time. Polygamy also happens, but it is not the winning strategy for our species it seems, as it is much more uncommon in our genetic behavior. Different individuals do have different strategies within a same species, and oftentimes they can be inferred from their appearance! Look up White-throated Sparrows and Common Side-blotched lizards for fascinating examples.

    Rape is natural in the animal kingdom of course. But we are humans, its different.
    Why? because rape in the animal kingdom is to ensure the survival of a species in harsh conditions but for humans there's no need since we are successful and growing. 2nd females being raped and then getting pregnant will most likely abort the baby or have miscarriage from Depression and PTSD. So remember rape is unnecessary for the human species and baby survival rate is low. Unless you are going to be those bearded man who kidnap woman's and rape and pregnant them then, lock them all up in the basement, then we'll have a new episode of criminal minds.

    The "male" strategy described sounds extremely primitive in a modern day context. Who's children are more likely to survive? A man who impregnates 40 different women and doesn't make an effort to take care of any of their kids, or a man who focuses on taking care of two or three children? And I don't think the genes of your kids will matter that much if they're on the street begging for money. Not to mention, abandoning a woman and forcing her to take care of your child is nothing but selfish.

      +Pikalolz They don't have to live to be successful, they just have to live. If you can manage to avoid child-support authorities, going from town to town knocking up as many women you could, would be EXTREMELY evolutionary successful. That is, provided the women in question care about their children enough to try and raise/protect them at all costs. Barring abortion, MOST women do just that even when economic pressures are high. All of this is AMPLIFIED by the effects of modern welfare states, who've made commitments to provide for ALL children.
      On this subject I recommend the comedy: "Idiocracy." Please at least watch the first 10 minutes.

    ขอถามตามประสาคนไร้การศึกษานะครับ การที่เราดูหนัง... หรือจินตนาการว่า ได้หลั่งในตัวเพศตรงข้ามแล้วเรารู้สึกพอใจนั้นคือ สันชาตญานที่ธรรมชาติให้มาให้เราอยากถ่ายทอดยีนให้มากขึ้นรึเปล่าครับ หรือไม่ใช่??
