Comparing this to my '23 it's definitely next level bobber. And to my opinion it looks more bobber now with the laced wheels, 2 in 1 exhaust, round air cleaner and speedometer. The rider safety enhancement features comes in handy during slippery road conditions. Praise to that!
Nice. I had a 20 Street Bob and now a 23 Low Rider S. Four things I love about this and why I think it's a bargain: 1. 117 Engine, 2. Laced wheels option, 3. New basic tank badge, 4. Analog speedo (although I prefer the analog tach on my Low Rider). This thing screams traditional Harley and is the blank slate needed for customization. I dig the chrome which gives it more of a traditional look. My 20 was cheaper but considering they went back to the things I loved about the 20 and also added a passenger seat and pegs and nicer gauge with ride modes, I think the 25 is a nice bike for the money
The rider assists actually make me LESS likely to want one. The price isn't worth it either. The only good thing is I hope these prices pull up the prices of used Harleys so I can get rid of mine.
@@jamessouthworth1699 Considering the 117 and the various traction control festires included, it’s actually a price drop, not a price increase. And if you adjust for inflation, it’s an even larger price drop. Used hogs are in the toilet ..been watching them for overvtwo years; they just sit and sit at virtuallly any asking price.
Love that you can get chrome and spokes now but God damn 17k for a bike with 3.5 gal tank is absolute blasphemy. It really needs a 5 gal tank to even be a consideration. Even then it's still too expensive for what it is. They think we forgot that this was a 14k bike when it came out.
14k in 2018 is 17.5k today. The price is right in line and the bike is vastly better than the old 107 from 2018. But I get it, inflation sucks and hits us everywhere.
I’m sticking with the old models, I loved that they moved it to the soft tail back in 2018. But all this tech is not what I wanted and I’m willing to bet a large number of owners and perspective buyers don’t. A motorcycle should be bare bones simple. All this tech just makes it more complicated and more likely to have to take it into the dealer if something goes wrong. And of course they will charge ridiculous dealer repair costs 🙄
if you want to buy cheap buy a Royal Enfield, if you a sweet bike this is the one, black paint, chrome, spoke rims, Hollywood handlebar, switchback seat with red stitch, better than low Rider s, this is a clear winner ⚡️⚡️⚡️
@InfamousCreep he can say whatever he wants, but he's wrong.... They are insanely overpriced. How come I can buy a brand new car with 4 tires, 4 doors, AC and heat, and stricter crash and emissions requirements for 22k and a road king special costs almost 28k? A new, safe and reliable car shouldn't cost less than ANY motorcycle. Bikes are supposed to be a cheaper form of transport. That's one of the many things that makes them great.
VVT masked as rider modes, what is it really more emissions controls. If your a shit rider then it should help you out. Bike is fugly, looks like the budget standard, bike has no style whatsover. The speedo on the bob was pure useful style, great for customisation now its the same cheap condensating crap on all the bikes. Switchgear went budget on the first softails though with metal casings, now it looks nasty the original harley style switchgear that has been around forever has gone in favour of what. Budget airfilter that probably wont handle any power upgrades like the previous version. Although was never a fan of the two into two system, simple slip ons got you more sound and power. Now you have to change the entire system. 117 120ftIbs 114 119ftIbs like your going to notice that with VVT detuning your power. ABS and cornering ABS are cool though both tie you well and truely into your dealer for servicing. Spoke wheels require constant care and maintainance especially in the UK where one winter garaged will seem them corrode if neglected. Wheel spacers, swing arm spacers, shifter linkage all of it oxidies and corrodes, spokes are just one more thing to go rotten and there is a lot of spokes to look after. At least its optional. The idea of the chrome finishes is so harley can flog you black casings and rocker covers because most of us prefer an all black bike. Stage 2 should be interesting as regular drop in cams will no longer work, the cams have to have VVT profiles requiring VVT only cams. these things are horsepower reducing.

Have you ridden one yet? I own a 2023 Street Bob 114 and I am wondering if it is worth trading for it and how the 117 engine works.
Looks nice, but i prefer the dual exhaust - on the Street Bob - how will the single pipe sound? I've got a 2021 Street Bob, a great basic bike...
But did you mention that it is what it is?
lol it is what it is.
At least he doesn’t say “At the end of the day” a dozen times. 😎

🤔I like everything but the price. $$$🤑
Yep, before the new CEO took over, the Street Bob was always under $15k.
This price is outlandish, you can get and Indian Chief for 14,9999 and it's arguably a better bike.

The 22-24 Lowriders had 103 hp and I think 125 tq, so I assume these are tuned different if they have less power
Can’t wait till you test ride the new line up and post the video. The Indians step it up again.
Indian has stepped it up with the new Chieftain, it’s got the powerplus engine now. It’s impressive
Thanks for posting. Really like the tech updates and tubeless laced wheels. Should have put a bigger tank on it.
Laced wheels are +$800 😅
@@jaytpaul no way 😂, I didn’t see that on the webpage . Dang
Sheesh
Those laced wheels are tubeless 👍
@@robsgarage69xwdoesn’t justify the price of those wheels just cause they are tubeless..
Theyre pricing these things out of the market. Not worth it anymore - any of them.
The new CEO mentioned they were undervalued for years, that’s why we’ve seen them increase by so much these last few years. That and inflation
