Brilliant well executed design, build, and install kinda like a custom high end Ikea or what Ikea should be. Building overall cabinett boxes a couple inches short of overaal actual length makes the install fit the slight variances always present in homes for real built in custom cabinets/shelving. Nice "V" grove detail for space frame attachment to boxes gives a fabulous shadow detail allowing for easy scribed fit of space frame to home. Since you have a shaper/moulder I use this equipment to mill a 1-5 groove glue edge when making panels from multiple pieces of lumber as a better alternative to biscuit/dowel/festool. Ray
Looking forward to the detailed videos on cabinet construction. I have been playing with some shop cabinets to try and learn and using some of your techniques.
Love to see someone doing real jobs on youtube. Most of the stuff I see on here is built so inefficiently and strange that it makes me wonder if I'm doing something wrong! Nice to see a channel with a real pro doing things that I can implement into my shop. I've usually done a small round over detail for stuff that needs to be assembled on site, but I like the look of that v-groove. Looking forward some more videos!
Wow! I have a hard time fitting two vanities in my work space ? And I am guessing you need help? I did a huge set of melamine cabinets and I did it alone except some install ( 95” tall doors and boxes) and did the sketches? ( that’s where I learned you don’t work for friends) . That’s a 6 month project? You hv to loose some work w/ others calling in ?
@@NE_woodworks yes sir! I keep a book and will go out 10-12 months? Right now it’s like 4 months? It’s odd ? I sold my truck and kept my van (it’s a 2021) ? But now I hv to drive my van to fly fish and hunt? Anyway looking forward to this build your doing !

Oh cool. Will definitely do a video just on cabinet construction
Love seeing your content. Getting my own woodshop started and I got a lot of that inspiration from watching your channel. Cheers
Love to hear that. Thanks for watching

Could you do a video on the process you go through with Matt Moore and your clients to develop the cabinet renderings?
Yeah we will have to do that
@@NE_woodworks would be very interested in having him do a drawing up for us on our next build! Where exactly are you guys located?
What scribers do you normally use on the job sites when you scribe fillers and trim pieces, thanks
They are Narex marking knives I use
Thanks for sharing the install. Could you do a more in depth showing on scribing.
Yes we will go into more detail on this
We have a fairly simple scribe video for installing shelves in an alcove. You could check that out! But would lo e to see other ways as well.!
no zipwall dust containment?
No
What do you use to scribe?
A block of wood and a marking knife
What designs software are you guys using.
Chief architect
One more question ? On these jobs say during the bust season ? Do you work Saturdays? Or that’s a no-no?
I work Saturdays when I have too. Part of being a one man show right now
So you sold the van in order to use a less efficient and more dangerous vehicule that requires a trailer is what I'm understanding here ?
That’s exactly it Bill

I rarely loose a job because of timeline. If the folks are willing to pay they are willing to wait as well.
