When my girls were this age we had a book it's still on Amazon. It's got little sensory patches but it also has sound. We had the farm animals one. You pet the animals and it moos, oinks etc. It was a huge hit! My son is a week younger than Elliana and he loves any toy that you can hide things in and pull them out again, and Anything to do with water !
Hi there! We just started introducing whole foods cut into finger-like strips to get her used to different textures and such. It helped her learn to feed herself well. :)
My baby is already 11 mos old and is having a hard time trying to walk. Hope I can buy her the push walker so she can practice well, but unfortunately I can't afford. I am still so happy that Elliana is growing up to be strong and independent. Wish you all the love❤❤❤
Did Eli have an issue with eating the sand? If so, how did you gently discourage it or break her of the habit? We’ve been wanting to get one but Mags is crazy when we do sensory play with jello lol
Not too much, thankfully! Anytime she tries to put something in her mouth that shouldn't be there, though, we just try to catch it right away. We would usually just get her attention with an "eh!" sound (not sure how to explain it lol) and she stopped. We just try to tell her right away when something doesn't belong in her mouth. She knows now what belongs and doesn't belong, for the most part! :)
I have the same issue with my 9 month old ..i do not have any energy left to get her to do any of these kind of activities as i get so tired running behind her and doing the house chores wen shes sleeping
Honestly, the only way I stay sane is because E sleeps so well at night and my hubs helps out SO much when he's home. Otherwise, I would be a hot mess!! He was gone for almost 2 months and I was in the first trimester of my pregnancy with this one, and girl, I was exhaustedd.....but I find that with plenty of rest, it helps. We don't do these things every single day, by any means. I would say 1-2 times a week at best! You are doing GREAT, mama!

Silicone bibs are THE BEST. I seriously don’t understand why people even use the cloth ones. 🤷🏼♀️
For drool bibs, the cloth ones are great, but for eating, the silicone ones are the way to go! 🥰🙌
