Beautifully executed. Wonderful piece. You're a stone's throw from Baroque lute territory with this. I wanted to mention something. I started gravitating back to playing with nails. I experimented over three months of growing them out and, eventually, cutting them. I found - now - they tend to get in the way. I guess I have a little bit of a hang up as a no nail guitar player. But, I need to get over it. The tone and consistency is great and all right hand fingers engage just as if I was playing with nails. Happy holidays! Tony
Thanks Tony! Hope you had a good Christmas. Finding the best right-hand approach can be a long process. I've changed my right-hand technique at least three times... Glad it's starting to work for you.
Uhh a 10string, thats way cool, especially for you as a composer it opens up alot of possibilities. The piece is really great too, very moody, i like that. Is that a cortez? Looks familiar. .... this was a gift??? The only things i receive are bills haha Merry Christmas Steven
@@FS.2772.guitar yes it is a Cortez -- well spotted! Was a very kind gift from a student, who designs them. I'm looking forward to trying Yepes tuning and hope to compose for that (in 'Baroque' tuning, I confess I find the extra bass strings quite troublesome in terms of resonance). Thanks Felix, and hope you have a good Christmas too.
@@anthonysmith1961 Ergoplay Troster. It's good for me as I like the guitar positioned high. I also like Guitarlift and Woodside supports. Gitano is great for portability.
Sounding good, Steven! I’d like to hear this performer in a cathedral with all the resonance it would offer! Looking forward to Yepes tuning too.
Omg, where are my headphones? That sounds gorgeous even on my phone (the piece and the guitar). Thank you!
Happy Winter Solstice 🌞

Sometimes a little uke, next time a big ten string.😀 Generous gift indeed, you make beautiful music on it. Thanks for sharing.Happy holidays.
Ha, yes it's quite a difference! My fingers don't always find it simple going from one to another... Thanks Bert, hope you have a good Christmas.
Ah, now I realize that this reminded me of Bach’s “Chanconne”
Now that's a compliment! Thanks Josh

What's the name of the guitar leg stand you use, and would you recommend it or any others.
