What does that mean? I am looking to begin sandblasting, mainly because our job corps is closed and I am looking for a good paying outdoor job. Fire fighting is next.
I can watch this stuff all day long. Honestly, it’s extremely relaxing and helps a lot with my ptsd and anxiety. No music and no unnecessary talking. Thank you.

I did this exact thing back in 2009 in college although it was to 4 stainless steel Chevrolet truck hubcaps. I wanted the painted hubcaps and wasn't gonna go looking for an extremely nice set of painted caps. So in the sandblasting cabinet the stainless caps went. They turned out really nice too.
I just had a thought of what would be a cool collab with another TH-cam. This hub cap would be awesome for some mandala art or paint pouring. Maybe even "Rachel's Rocks" could do something cool with it?
Great job brother. Is it just me, or does anyone else get like a tingly sensation in their ears when someone is sandblasting? I mean, it feels good, it's very slight. Just adds to the enjoyment I guess. I used to blast large propane tanks when young, I guess that's where I got hooked on blasting. Lol. Anyways, everyone have a great day!
That one was a satisfying choice... it looks like there was not much rust on the metal, so there was very little pitting. Looking closer, it may have been lying in rusty water, and most of the rust was on top of the paint. Whatever, it came out great. Thanks for the video.
fun fact, general purpose thinners does a great job of pulling any embedded media out of the work piece, particularly aluminium oxide, powdered glass and garnet, dont ask me how it works but you should see the crap that is washed out!
Personally I would love to see this hub cap finished, if only because I have 2 of them I am using for scrap collection under my band saw and I know they deserve better, lol.
Thank you for JUST DOING THE WORK!!! people talk about NOTHING and show picks of dogs and cats and wear stupid shades that has NOTHING to do with the works.

What texture does it acquire with that finish? It looks rough, which I actually like, how rough is it to the touch? What could you compare it to? just to get an idea
Dear Dude. 👍👌👏 I came here from your Rescue & Restore channel and instantly subscribed! Thanks a lot for making recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck health and wisdom.
What happens to the rust particles after they're sandblasted? Genuine question, as I'd be concerned about rust entering my airways (even after the whole process is finished and the mask was taken off).
As a former industrial sandblaster, I've a fun fact. Freshly sandblasted steel has a fourteen second window before oxyidation begins again.
So you mean ... You just wait and can do it again?
What does that mean? I am looking to begin sandblasting, mainly because our job corps is closed and I am looking for a good paying outdoor job. Fire fighting is next.
What do you mean? I never seen this at my Metal Finishing place
Tell us more?
Means that it can be 100.00% clean steel for only 14 seconds. So put some paint in the sandblaster.
Your welcome 😄

Extremely fine sandpaper. Good 1500-2000 grit.
