I once saw Tammie in province town with my whole family we didn't go to the show even though I tried to convince them. She was really sweet and said my brother was cute and I made her laugh with a joke about my brother being a shark. She was really wonderful to meet in person.

Tammie has me dying! She gives zero f*cks and speaks her truth. I'm not keen on anyone getting further chances on the show after one All Stars but Tammie I would make an exception for. Funniest Tammy thing I heard her say was when she was in the back of a cab on her way to a RP “command performance“. She wasn’t happy about it. She felt she and the other girls were being taken unfair advantage of. The cab hit a pothole, and Tammy said “I wish I was in it.“ It was an effing scream!!
I think it's really wrong that Tammie can NEVER make it far and give us golden TV because she refuses to talk shit and be authentic and positive. She is funny WITHOUT being malicious and it sucks cause she is a legend and we need more of her

Im 67 been around the gay scene since i was 8. My mom was an ally! My mom was diversified and staunch supporter of humans all races. Yet she was my abuser. As a result, makes sense you go where you’re accepted. Was in theatre, dance, music, so around all walks of life. Im accepting of ‘different’ because mental issues make for truly fascinating individuals, if you have PATIENCE and genuinely want to understand and get to know them. If one dismisses an experience quite often, you miss an opportunity for growth, but often thats not the case. Tammy is a truthspeaker and truthseeker! I am similar, so i get her. You know, most people want flowery words and Mary Poppins sweetness, whereas; Tammy and I call BS!!! When one is ‘real’, direct, blunt, or insists on truth-most run lmao! I love how nonchalant Tammie is about death. It feels like she's trying to take away it's sting and power. Maybe she was hurt by a loss of someone.
I'm not sure how old you are, but Tammie and I are about the same age. It really is hard to like the world as it is right now, and a lot of us feel that we've already experienced the best it's going to get.
I'd say, before 2000, the future was something we looked forward to. Everyone thought that life was only going to get better. But today, that attitude doesn't exist as much. It's sad when you hear kids say things like, "If I get older" instead of, "When I get older."

I just missed Tammie’s show in Puerto Vallarta. I was so looking forward to seeing her. Looking forward to seeing her next year though. She’s awesome!

Tammie Brown is iconic because it IS legit- she IS this blunt, well meaning, random thinking eccentric. You know where you stand with her- she was bored during parts of this interview lol and it was quite obvious (tho Matt handled her like a true professional), and while it may seem rude it is t- she just doesn’t put up the same pretenses and facades like the rest of us do. Idk if she’s on the spectrum but it wouldn’t surprise me for sure, and either way she’s on MY spectrum- of fabulousness 💅🏻

With regards to her saying that her and Yara were deflecting, you can actually spot that after Yara says “because they need someone to go home first”. Yara goes on to say “and you know what this is MF stupid” and Tammie replies “I agree” then they cut the audio and go to a shot of Mimi gathering her clothes.

RuPaul might be an icon of drag, but she can't treat people like garbage. I'm super excited about Tammie as well! I got ripped off by a for-profit college as well. Got licensed, passed my national test, and still couldn't get a job because the college never taught me about insurance. Then, the college went out of business, and I was stuck with that loan for a long time. Tammie makes a lot of sense if you take your time and listen. WOW also puts in their contracts that the queens have to participate for like 8 years after their season. (I think I'm off on the time.) That's why you see them use newer queens over older ones. Older ones can say no, newer ones can't.
I went to high school with a girl named Tammy Brown. She ultimately became the Valedictorian of my graduating class in 1994. She was a very nice. I wonder where she is in the world.
