- Hey Guys, This is Part 24, and This is The Last Part For This Walkthrough..^^ This is The Secret How To Get The Last 2 Chars That Will Not Be Able To Get From Adventure Mode..:D and Those Char Are N.Troopy and Penta Penguin..:D To Get N.Troopy Watch This vid, I write The Explanation in There, and Here's The Code To Get Penta Penguin :
Hold L1 + R1 and Press Down, Right, Triangle, Down, Left, Triangle, Up at the main menu....

LOVE this game... The best. I bought PS1 just to play this game. Then I bought PS3 and got black label on to play on PS3. My buddy and I play few time a weeks in the last 4 years, yet not bored and still lots to learn. Love the designer team ,they are awesome.
I discovered that Penta Penguin's stats are different. On the NTSC version, it's pretty much normal, but on PAL, his stats are out-maxed!
Penta Penguin has High Speed in NTSC-U but Maxed out Stats in PAL
Benn Coulson actually his speed is beginner class so it isn’t fast
Ntsc u/c and pal his stats are normal but in ntsc j it's maxed, they wanted it to be an Easter egg and forgot to change Pentas stats back prior to release
and i thought i was the best in this game by beating all my siblings and cousins

Ah N.Gin labs... The most broken track on the game. With the massive boost glitch even Oxide's time is easy to beat.. xD

some people say that Penta Penguin got Oxide's speed, I dunno about that though, but for the speed I think N.Trophy still win, but N.Tropy kinda hard to turn, Penta is quite easier..:D
yes I know, u can get into the cliff from there I know..:D but the thing is, you cant do that using N.Troopy, cause the turn is totally suck..:) and thanks again :D

thanks..:D I miss those because, if you go that way, it'll acctually slower you down..:) cause I dont have enough turbo at that time, that's why Oxide never go in there..:) Oxide's shortcuts are the best, you dont need extra turbo and stuff's..:D

Yeah I've noticed that N. Trophy is kinda hard to turn... I guess he turns as bad as Tiny or Dingodile.. Oh well :D

I remember when I first finished the game, I was going to play in the arcade mode and I saw Penta Penguin as a available character. I think you can unlock it without cheats.

7 Years ago huh? Game is still a legend, There are coming ways soon to play online together, otherwise you might be able to use Parsec to screen share and use an emulator, you're welcome! =)

It was so frustrating beating again and again oxide and complete the game in 101% to Get Oxide but it was impossible , i have been trying it 15 years xD

that turbo is supernatural, do you have any cheat?, I mean it lasts for too long
no, not cheats, in this game there's a "bug turbo" and it happenes in N.Gin's lab, Oxide Station, and maybe theres in the other tracks as well, but all I know is those 2 tracks :)

It's not a bug turbo, it's called Sacred Fire, i'm a speedrunner of this game and it's used in every couse to go at max speed for a long time, google it for more informations.

Wait to get fake crash you have to beat the oxide trials right? But to do that you need to beat the n trophy time trials and thats how you unlock n.trophy
Kisuke5678 no,you have to get all the purple tokens and win the purple gem cup in the adventure mode(to get fake crash)
I'm sure that to unclock N Trophy on EU version u have to do only gold star challenges. I did it accidentelly when I was 10.
That's what they did. They said N'Tropy would be unlocked with gold stars. They said Nitrus Oxide would be unlocked with platinum stars.
actually Penta was unlocked with platinum i think...maybe in some version?

well...to get all of the new chars you can watch from part 1..:) and this vid only to show you how to unlock N.Troopy and Penta penguin, and to get penta penguin without cheats, you can complete 100% of this game (not just the adventure) but you must get all the starts in cup as well..:)

I have all characters expect this 2... i want but the oxide has turbo with buttons... i am too slow SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT... Tell Me How You Doin' Turbo with buttons? what are you holding? and gema, you defeated N. Oxide Without Power-ups, congragts. Probably You Will Defeat Over 1 Penta Penguin and 1 oxide... ;) Good Luck.

Iam not lie dude, like I said I play this one in my PC using PS1 emulator, so I play is L1, but if you play this in PC, then go to story mode, cause Uka-Uka/AKU-Aku WILL TELL YOU HOW TO DO IT..:)
well to play oxide you have to use cheats, but some people said that Penta Penguin is Oxide himself (the stats are the same as Oxide) :D dunno if its true or not though lol

but i have compleated them without cheats and the boss in cnk is 2 x that hard as the boss in ctr

If I use the cheat to unlock penta penguin, race as them and then come back later on, will he still be there? I.e. is the cheat permanent? Or do i have to enter it everytime i want to play as him

no, he's not unlockable. the only way to play him is to use gameshark

How does he increase his speed and make fume go out of the exhaust?
drifting. you jump, and hold it while you turn. if you see bar on the bottom right is turn red, press the another jump button. (ex. if you use L1 to jump, then use R1 to boost yourself if bar is on red). be careful to not hold it for too long, or you'll be overdrift, and it'll ruin everything.
