    To answer Frogman’s question … You came from Butte, Montana, dedicated yourself to facing the toughest of challenges, and as a result found yourself standing next to the corpse of Bin Laden. Because of who you are and the warrior ethos you live by, we in the civilian world sleep a little better each night. It is hard for me to fathom how such a regular looking guy can be so well put together. He is part of an elite brotherhood. I don't think some people realize how important these interviews are. 1st of all the historical importance is something that is out of this world. Years and decades from now our children who aspire to do greater things will be able to look back at these videos almost in the sense of historical records and actually watch these interviews and see the men and women who were actually there when these incidents and regime changes happened. Just paused and think about the true importance of this for a second.
    I know from reading the comments these videos have helped a lot of veterans. Personally me I served, but did not deploy. I like listening to the stories as they remind me of when I was a lower enlisted soldier hearing about the wars taking place. Thank you to every veteran who served and thank you Shawn for taking the time to preserve history so others today and years down the road may enjoy it.

      Do you have any links to, video's, articles, of anyone saying he's a liar. I thought it was accepted he was the trigger guy. I'd heard someone else also took some shots in the bedroom where Bin Laden was, but I cant remember.
      O'Neils book goes into some stuff about after the raid, he encountered some heavy jealousy from fellow SEALS, and then some more anger that he wrote a book.

    • @Weedline83
      @Weedline83 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      He “canoed” Osama and his fellow SEALS were pissed bc they were trying to identify him. Canoed means shooting the top of the head and having brains spill out. This was a common practice for DEVGRU.
      In Zero Dark Thirty, if you watch, after he’s dead a guy came in and shot his corpse well after he’s dead. Then a fellow SEAL says “hey man, do you realize what you just did”? That was Rob O’Neil. He and the guy who wrote the first book on the raid lied. The other guy wasn’t even on the 3rd floor EVER and in practice leading up to the raid the two had to be separated bc they were fighting over who would raid the room.
      When his detonator didn’t blow, he and a few others were trapped and another team assaulted OBL’s room.
      These two guys can’t even walk into a SEAL bar anymore. They’re both outcasts and we’re literally kicked out. You can trust me, or Google it. There’s even a TH-cam video of a reporter who followed DEVGRU and reported on all they did. He confirmed the above. He also didn’t pain them in the best light. Mutilation by hatchet was common.

      @@Weedline83 Eh. Seems some SEAL's are mad he talks about it, but I still see video's where he hangs out with other old SEAL's.
      I know that Bissonnette guy has another story in his book. I read both. I don't know man, we weren't there, who knows what happened in there. Bunch of drama queen's if you ask me.
      Now Goggins and Crenshaw crying like some Kardashains. So its not surprising the dudes on that raid are being petty and jealous too. 🤷‍♂

There’s no calmness or “chill” in his demeanor, and maybe that’s just the way he is, but it comes across as “off” to me somehow and I can’t pinpoint what it is. I’m probably wrong, but just had to say it…he’s just different from most SEALS you hear talk.
