It's a very small airport, at least for now. There will be expansion, and there may be capacity for aerobridges, but this would likely add to the cost of the fares. Many airports have a 'two tier' system like this.
"For some time" in my eyes, there will never be jetbridges at all for skypark. They were looking up to London City Airport as a role model and it makes sense too. Bridges takes away the precious minutes...
Several years to come, the road will be realigned, the land side terminal will be nearer to the rail station, and the current facilities will be demolished. I am looking forward for the vast transformation of the airport and hopefully, flydubai will make Subang their destination..
I heard that airasia will fly WBKK-WMSA soon. Hopefully the ticket will be more cheaper
End of August. Check our website there's a story there. They'll also be heading for Kuching. They did have an early bird promo fare.
@@EconomyTraveller does the ticket more cheaper than wbkk-wmkk?
Hard to say. But you'll save on transport to get there so that helps. Look for early bird offers.
@@EconomyTraveller I see. Thanks!
So excited for the complete makeover of SZB.
So are we! 🙂
No airbridge? Means walking towards the plane to board?

Cool baby

If they ever do, they would probably only be used by airlines willing to pay extra to use them, which would affect the fares.

This is an interesting observation and sounds logical. Thanks. 🙂
