- Join me in the back of a pickup truck as we take a spin around the Eastern service roads at Subang Airport, Kuala Lumpur's main airport from 1965 to 1998.
Driving out from the Subang SkyPark Terminal (once Terminal 3), we first head North towards the AIROD Hangars at Taxiway Mike. The purpose of the tour was actually to photograph the Johor Sultan's Boeing 737 BBJ from this position. Afterwards, we turn to the South and past the terminal, towards the Taxiway Quebec Apron. We go as far as Taxiway Oscar before turning back around in the direction of SkyPark.
Some rare types can be seen as we pass by Subang's various hangars and MRO facilities! What can you spot around the airport?

Very nice!
Thanks!
Wonder how they are going to fit B737s and A320s at that Skypark Terminal
A very good question haha, would be a tight squeeze in its current state.
Which company owns those hercules?
The two closest in the frame are 5X-TUE and 5X-TUF, owned by Transafrik International. The one further back is owned by Libyan Air Cargo, should be 5A-DOO.
