    Myriam, your timing couldn't be more fortuitous! I spent far too many hours on Saturday looking for an airbrush that I could use just to push air around, tonight while listening to some jazz I looked up the menu list and saw your title, My Favorite AIRBRUSHfor just blowing Air & Why! I am in heaven and quickly going over to Amazon and purchasing what you suggest! Thank YOU so much for basically making my decision for me, now just loan me some of your talents and I will be even happier!

    I also purchased this one a couple weeks ago after reading reviews on Amazon. I finally figured out how to get the wispy effects last night after many failures with other methods and find that it is much easier with this airbrush as you can control the amount of air flow by how much pressure you put on the trigger. I was really happy to see that you also use the same model. Thank you for sharing your videos. I find them very helpful.

    Thank you for confirming the best use type of airbrush. Having tried the plastic straw tq leaves me breathless (literally). Lousy lungs. This gives me another way to create. I love sue-me-a which works better with the airbrush. So much better than spitting all over the piece! A big no-no in our current world. Stay healthy and safe!

      @MyriamsNature  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Anne! I completely relate about having lousy lungs... I wouldn’t wish mine on a 90 year old monkey 😅. I recently bought a book on Sumi-e and look forward to exploring. It had never occurred to me that I could airbrush in that medium. Thank you for that idea. It sounds like there’s some airbrush fun in YOUR future. @anneugartechea7650 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MyriamsNature I love your note! The trick, I think, to using the air brush is to get a happy medium...when you shove the ink with air, there has to be a juicy feel to it so it doesn't fade out. Yet, keep it flowing like a hockey puck on ice. I hope that made sense! My lazy days are almost over. Hopefully going back to work on Wednesday. Thank you and stay healthy!

    I thought you were very helpful. What I didn't know I needed to know about air brushes. How often do you use the regulator one compared to the middle one?

    Which masters airbrush is the one you recommend? I can’t see the link in the comments. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial

    Hi..This was terrific. I just received my new airbrush, hanks to you, from Amazon. I was wondering about something new. There is an ink brand on Ebay called Wizard Alcohol Inks. I was wondering if you had used them. They are inexpensive but can take a month to arrive from Israel. Otherwise I would have ordered some. I'm still waiting to get the Kielty.........too many things to buy! Too many supplies that feed my soul!

    I am new to alcohol inks, and I bought the cheap clear tube to blow through thinking it is longer than a straw, and easier to direct. Problem is-the humidity in my breath creates specks in my ink. No to mention I get out of breath. I am ordering this one-thank you so much. for the review. I hope I can attach a filter to this one for moisture?????

    This is the same one that I recommend in my Online Alcohol Ink courses!
    So glad to hear you recommend it too. :)
    I love the little air pressure this one gives off with Alcohol Inks. ❤️

    Thank you, Mariam - for explaining in great detail regarding the air brush and compressor. I had no idea which one to get. I'm just beginning alcohol ink techniques, and I think getting the right air brush will help so much. Question: Can you recommend the best paper to use for alcohol ink? I do have Yupo paper - would that be best???
    I absolutely love all your work and have decided to Subscribe to your channel. I LOVED THIS VIDEO!! You are so sweet. Looking forward to watching all your video's. Thank's again!!

      Hi Maeve! Welcome to the wonderful world of alcohol ink... I think you’re going to love it 😊. Thank you for subscribing. I hope that this channel will be useful to you.
      Yupo is very good for alcohol ink in that is non-porous and for many years it has been the “paper” of choice for alcohol inkers. Late last year I had the privilege of being a tester for a new plastic paper that I now recommend more : Grafix Opaque White. Here is a video that explains why : th-cam.com/video/5UqpQkhgcGY/w-d-xo.html
      Here are links for the plastic :
      - 9x12” - pack of 25 sheets: bit.ly/Grafix-9x12-25
      - 12x12” - pack of 25 sheets: bit.ly/Grafix-12x12-25
      - 12x12” - pack of 4 sheets: bit.ly/Grafix-12x12-4
      If you’re on FB, I’d love to have you join my group... there are a lot of alcohol ink artists sharing their work, resources, etc. It’s a great place to ask questions, get inspired, and show off what you make. If you’re interested, here is the link: facebook.com/groups/Myriams.Fluid.Art.Tribe
      I hope that this all helps a bit. Happy, happy New Year to you and yours!! ✨🎆💕🎇✨ 😊

    This is the air brush that I purchased several months ago! Love it. Is there a difference in pulling back on the trigger &/or just depressing it?

    • @MyriamsNature
      @MyriamsNature  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hi Lynne! When the airbrush is empty it doesn’t really matter. When the cup is full of ink or paint, pulling back on the trigger releases the paint (and you can adjust the amount by how far back you pull the trigger). Just depressing the trigger only blows air. This is the case in a “double action” airbrush like the one that comes with the Master kit. There are some single action brushes where you can only push down and that just releases paint. 😊💕

      I have a similar question -- I need a mini Master Air Brush air on demand compressor only. Since Pandemic no one is selling compressor by itself. Would you have any suggestion where I could get the compressor without buying another air brush tool? Thanks.
      This video is very helpful! I have no clue how to use it until I watched you here.😊

    Thanks for this video and all the other videos you make Myriam! I am going to start alcohol painting. Got my inks today. I have a question about the airbrush tool -- can you please give me the amazon link to the Point Zero airbrush? You said that one is cheaper. So I would like to get that one for me. What are the different things I will need in the airbrush set to use only for alcohol inks? Thanks so much! :-)

    Myriam, this is exactly what I need. I do have questions. Is the compressor noisy? Is there a lot of maintenance to the compressor? And what about the Airbrush, is it hard to clean? I tried an airbrush but I bought it separately from the compressor and the two did not seem to be compatible. So I sent those back. I realize I need to buy the two items together so I know they will be able to fit and use. I do like your video and it is helpful. So thanks for the video. One last question. Can this airbrush and compressor strong enough to blow paint as in a dutch pour?

    Thank you so much for this short video. I have the Master Air Brush, but have not used it too much. I feel I need a good amount of time to sit and try it out. My work space is small so have to make room to work with it. But now that you have shown us about it and how simple it is to work, maybe I can pull it out and start to experiment. Thanks again for all your help with Alcohol Ink art.

    Hi, would this work in UK? is it a two pin plug in US? Will I need an adaptor? Would wattage work? Sorry for all questions but it's quite dear to purchase with the shipping and all, so would really appreciate some clarification. Thanking you and love your work and brilliant tutorials ❤

    Thanks so much I have the one that you use. However I have messed with that button that you leave alone. So my question would be since I have no idea if it’s up or down where is yours all the way up or all the way down or somewhere in the middle? I’m a pain. I know. But any help would be greatly appreciated. This was a great tutorial! Thank you so much.
