@@septic_cipher oh don't get me wrong, i do love awakening, echoes ,however, is just so much better but people still praise awakening more. What i'm trying to say is that for the masterpiece that echoes is it doesn't gets the love it deserves while awakening while good is overrated, that's it, no hate for awakening.
My sister got into fire emblem before i did, and she loved and played most of em. Especially Fates. But this one.. She over looked it, even i knew it came out and bought the Amiibos of the pair Together. (Not knowing itd be expensive and tough to find) and she never had any interest at all to play it... Until i finally got into FE and actually bought this and fates and Awakening to play during quarantine days... So im glad i own it and love the crap out of it...
Having played Awakening, Birth Right and DLCs, and Echoes; Awakening has the better combat experience and more fan service, story line was ok; Birth Right and DLCs were mainly fan service and storyline is boring imo; Echoes had a decent combat experience, but the story telling was just great, great animated scenes, and the best OST imo. Echoes is by far my favorite to date.
I loved Echoes, and didn't know until later that it was a remake of a much older game. So Echoes got me to play Gaiden, and after glancing in FE4/5's direction, I want to get into those games but only with quality remakes like Echoes.

Echoes has such beautiful music, it's unreal people ignored it when it came out.

I remember this game. It was quite antiquated as hell in some aspects, but the art direction, characters, narrative and music were all fantastic
Antiquated because they took the map design, map exploration, and combat designed from the early 90's 8-bit famicom system.

This is definitely my favorite fire emblem game.
I knew things were about to get real in Act 3 when I saw that Alm was being welcomed to Rigel by Gold Knight Berkut.
