- Hi Guys,
Today we are going simple but definitely cute! I love the way these little journals turned out. I couldn't stop making them. These are so easy to make and are beginner friendly. There are so many possibilities on how to make them. I really hope you enjoy this project and try them out for yourselves putting your own spin on them.
Thanks so much for watching!
:) Maggie

Happy Crafting!
I am sitting looking at my little journal thanks to you, I love it. I have two more covers cut out, so I know what I am doing this afternoon. Your video is so inspiring, thank you so much for sharing this little project. Hope to make all of your top ten makes.

I appreciate it Julie. Thanks for watching
Great tutorial Maggie, great use of less loved papers too. I loved the closure and ordered a set as they will be great for journal closures. Great idea for booklet within a journal pocket. Thank you for sharing. Crafty hugs Jacqui 💖
That die set is great! I hope you get a lot of use out of it. Thanks for watching Jacqui
Waouhhhhhh géant bravo 👏👏👏👏🦋👏👏👏🦋👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🦋
Thank you so much Monique
Anything TH I hoard too. I made a bunch of mini file folders this Summer and had no idea what to do with them. Ended up giving them away to a gal who is putting them in her large recipe box with a picture of the Grandma or Aunt, along with with the recipe, I thought that was a sweet idea for those 'special' family or friend recipes. Love your folders with the belts and that you turned them into mini journals. I can see I didn't go far enough with mine, so I'll do them again and turn them into something :) Love them all!
Thanks for watching Jean. You definitely did a nice thing to gift your mini folders to that gal. Hope you will give this project a try next time.
Really fun project! Thank you so much for the tutorial! I want to use these as signatures in a larger journal.

Oh Maggie. I love it when you copy Tim Holtz because I find it so hard to get his stuff. When I hear you say you've copied it, Im like, YES, I can do this one. PLUS, like you, when I do get his goodies, I do like to hoard them........I guess its because if I use it, then I wont have it!!!! Im just catching up with what you've been up to since you got back from holidays. I had a health scare recently, which is why ive been missing for a bit, so Im just spending some time chilling out with you, lovely lady. These are fantastic. Love the belt idea. (think the scene on the tag was maybe a massacre!!!) Thanks hun, for sharing your creativity with all of us. We love it xxx
Hey Lorraine! So glad you liked it. They are so easy and so fun to make. I hope your health scare was just that and nothing else. Wishing you nothing but the best. Rest up my friend!

Hi Maggie, love love these. I’m so in love with the watch straps. I don’t have a die cut machine. These are the best. I was upset when you said it was a die cut. I really like your videos and your design style.
Hi Joann, thank you so much for watching. I'm sure you can make the straps or something pretty similar. :)
Miss Maggie, I really liked the first 4 you created best of all. Thank you for sharing and God Bless you and your family. 🥰💖👍👍👍👍👍(🌹🐞🦂🌵)
Thanks for watching Rose

Great video. I was able to find a similar die cut for a belt closure on Amazon and should get it Friday.
That's perfect! thanks so much for watching Linda
This folder is really cut...always great ideas.
Thanks Deborah!
💗
looks great, another idea= you could have put the eyelet through all layers including the tab part
Great idea Elizabeth. Thanks!
Ack! Is that trimmer a doll accessory? Lol I absolutely love it!
LOL! It's absolutely one of my favorite and most used crafts tools. Thanks so much for watching
Hi Maggie,
I just love this idea….thanks so much. I always look forward to your videos. Btw…where did you get that ruler from? I really like it. Keep those great ideas coming great work!
Hi! I'm so glad you enjoyed this project. My ruler I bought from Target a while ago. I love it! Thanks for watching
SOOOO CLEVER, MAGGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I HORD SOME OF MY CARD MAKING SUPPLIES, i'M THE SAME WAY, NOT SURE WHY EITHER?? Do take care. Fl.
Thanks Jean. So glad I'm not the only one. :) Thanks for watching
Love this video, where did you get the container with the eyelids in it
I bought the container on Temu. Here's the link in case you're interested: share.temu.com/lwCIrNT1LtA
Thanks for watching
Awesome journal! Can you tell me where you purchased you eyelets please. I looked on your Amazon list but couldn’t find them there. But found a lot of other great stuff that’s in my cart. Thank you!
So glad you enjoyed this little journal. I like to order my eyelets from Craftelier.com. I've tried so many different eyelets and found Crafteliers is the best so far, in my opinion. Glad you went over to take a look at my Amazon Storefront. So happy you found some fun goodies. Thanks for watching
@@SunsetCrafts Thank you so much for replying! 💜
So adorable! Temu is out of the die set, but I can wait or improvise. The hook is paper? Couldn't you use a fastener and bring one side through and bend it closed? I need to try that. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Joyce, yes the hook was paper. Thanks for watching
@@SunsetCrafts Thank you for your fast reply. Just love watching all your videos. You're so talented.
Hello Maggie please share where you got the grid paper😊❤️
Hi Tohona, the link to the grid paper is in the description box of this video. It's from Temu. Thanks for watching
I believe the belt die was for Santa’s belt from Th.
I'm not sure. I haven't seen that one. Thanks for watching Dixie
I love the look of this, but if you don't have the die cut for the closure (which is 95% of why this is so cool looking), which I don't have, it's not something I'll try. I like your tip on how to sew in the paper.
I do have the link to the belt die in the description of my video in case you might be interested. Otherwise, I'm sure there is something you can substitute it for. Thanks for watching.
❤❤❤❤😂
Hi Maggie. Where did you find your eyelets with the smooth back that you used on your “belt” closure.
Hi Amber, I get most of my eyelets from the Craftelier website. Thanks for watching
Did you find the watch band die?
Hi Nancy, I did. I found out that it was actually called a Belt die. That is how I had it in my supply list but I changed it now, so it is less confusing. It's linked in the supply list in the description box of this video. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Lol I did the exact same thing to my folders...just drew them out so I don't use original
Lol! Glad I'm not the only one. Thanks so much for watching
Sorry, but the most what you doing is out of frame😕
I can see it just fine from my iPad.
?
Me too
I'm sorry but I rewatched it too and looks fine on my end. That is so weird.
Great way to use your resources! ❤
Awesome
Thanks for watching Donna
